You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Future Science Group requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I have deleted the article Future Science Group on the basis of speedy deletion criterion A7. In response to your comment on Talk:Future Science Group, I note that the article did not credibly assert the notability of the subject. Please see in particular WP:CORP for guidelines on notability for corporations and other business entities. Formatting is only one aspect of a Wikipedia article (and bad formatting would actually not alone be enough reason for an article to be deleted.) —Verrai 02:38, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Laura Dormer (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

My personal account has been blocked from editing. I believe this is because I edit pages as part of my job (I am Editorial Director at an STM publishing company, and am responsible for keeping several pages related to our journals up-to-date; for example, amending impact factor values when these are released each year). However, others from my company also edit Wikipedia from work, and therefore are from the same IP address (I believe). I'd appreciate if my account could be unblocked, as I do not believe I have abused the site, and only have one account registered to my name. Many thanks for your help.

Decline reason:

So, you were actually doing undisclosed paid editing in violation of our WP:COI policy. And you want us to unblock you so that you can continue. No, thanks. Vanjagenije (talk) 20:02, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Apologies, I was unaware that a disclosure was required (I realise this is not an excuse, but just an explanation). I believe I have now added the required disclosure correctly, but apologies if I've done this wrong. I'd appreciate if you could review the blocking of my account.

Request reason[edit]

You have not written any reason why you should be unblocked. In request reason you should not try to prove that you are absolutely right because the administrator who blocked you is not a mad person, he has blocked you for some reason. First of all read guidance articles that link with the problem for which you are blocked. Currently you are blocked for paid editing and violating WP:COI policy and understand what they say. You should make every attempt to convince administrators that your unblock will be beneficial for wikipedia. Then you should make a request saying like, "I admit I am guilty of violating wikipedia policies. I did not know about those policies at that time. Now I have read WP:COI and Wikipedia:Paid editing, I apologize for previous mistakes and I promise I shall not violate these rules in future. I am very sorry for what I had been doing and I promise I shall avoid from doing such actions. I apologize for past mistakes. Please unblock me. I shall not make those mistakes after unblock. I shall follow rules of wikipedia after unblock. Please unblock me." Most likely you will be unblocked after this request or after short investigation. Following your unblock, you should never try to do the actions you have been doing. If you repeat your actions, you will be blocked and you can not unblock your account after second block. Hope this will help you become unblocked and again ready to contribute to wikipedia. Best wishes. Sinner (talk) 13:42, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Many thanks Sinner for further clarifying the reasons for my account being blocked. As suggested, I have now read the relevant COI rules you directed me to. As mentioned, I wasn't previously aware I was violating these, but now I have read them I appreciate what I have done wrong, and apologise for this. I would be very pleased if you would agree to unblock my account, and if you grant this I will make sure I do not repeat my previous errors and abide by the rules set out by Wikipedia. Hopefully I could then make a useful contribution. Once again, please accept my apologies and I hope you will consider my request. Many thanks for your time.Laura Dormer (talk) 10:57, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Unfortunately Laura, the fact you did not disclose you were being paid to edit Wikipedia originally is a huge violation of the community's trust. Saying so now, but looking to continue you paid work here is not something that would be well received, and as such you'll need to remain blocked. Request reason:

Hi RickinBaltimore - many thanks for reviewing this. As mentioned, I was unaware of the COI rules, but now that I am I am very sorry, and would definitely not make any edits related to my work again. I would like my account unblocked purely for personal use from now on, hopefully to the benefit of the Wikipedia community. Once again, I'm very sorry for the previous violation, and hope you will consider thisLaura Dormer (talk) 14:07, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
