Re: Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge[edit]

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you on this. Longstanding consensus for Wikipedia music-related articles is that infobox genres should be removed if there are constant disputes over them. This is (or at least was) the case with almost all My Chemical Romance articles, which is why a second consensus was reached on the talk page that we should remove genres from those articles. It's a much simpler solution than spending time deciding on something so arbitrary. Cheers. Friginator (talk) 19:00, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

EA Hockey game from 1993[edit]

Hello! Last year you added a 1993 game, "EA Hockey", for the Sega Genesis in the List of ice hockey video games. However, a Google search yields no relevant results. Did you confuse it with the PC/DOS release (named "NHL Hockey"), or is there actually a 1993 game named "EA Hockey"? I've removed the entry for now. Thanks in advance, Heymid (contribs) 21:12, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

March 2016[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Red (Taylor Swift song), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. 115.164.57.151 (talk) 06:57, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have recently shown interest in living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
