Hey Lugnuts, I found something you should see. Concerning Lightnin', the article you created way back when, I stumbled upon this "new" article, Lightnin' (play), which is just about the play. I already knew about your article, since I've edited it myself. Your article is about the 1925 film, where this "new" article pre-dates that by seven years, as it's about the 1918 play. So, should the "new" article be merged into yours, or does your article move to Lightnin' (film), and/or does it became a disambiguation page instead? What should be done? Ymblanter, please, stop striving to save the status quo of the information in the article and to protect the position of Lugnuts (and, probably, yours). This looks really strange, that a phrase of who-knows-who has a great importance, but a historical mistake is a trivia. It's obvious, you hadn't made any attempt to solve the question. I've given a link to the subsection Nazi Germany and World War II (1933-45) of the article about the Third Reich's flag. The next is mentioned there: the flags for use on sea had a through and through image, so the "left-facing" and "right-facing" version were each present on one side while the national flag was right-facing on both sides. Hence, a sea flag couldn't be used in Belarus, only the "right-facing" flags could be used here. If even this information isn't enough, I can give you a link to the law about this flag (in German). After looking it over-2 Oscar winners in sound were named Theodore Soderberg.

Which explains why there is a odd start of career on the guys page. Geography of the Heart

Hi, I need help and I will be really grateful of you if you can help me in this matter. The problem is that I created an article Geography of the Heart in August 2013, its like an anthology film but with no release date announced at all and only some parts had been shot and others are still in pre-production. Let me clarify that the first part was shot in early 2010. The trailers for two segments were released in 2010 and 2012 respectively. The sources which I found and added in the article are not that much reliable and some are very poor. I searched but there is not much information available about this film and most of what is available is unreliable and contradict each other. Now there is user Juliakramer who is only editing on this article and removing most of the data and all the sources completely and in edit summary state that The producers and have updated with CORRECT information and The legal producers have corrected this page. I tried to clean up the article as much as possible and removed most of the contradictory and unsourced information from the article. The Selfish Giant (2013)

Well added one Oscar nominee who I am surprised had no page until now.

Okay so granted Ernest Miller had only 1 nomination, but looking over his filmography on the IMDB-this guy had over 300 credits! I don't feel like doing the filmography, but I am linking his name to a bunch of stuff right now. I have added several other nominees as of late, but yeah this guy I think could have a decent page if some people look into this. Well one page I added for a Oscar winner has the same name as someone else and its confusing now to figure out which is which

As I added the 3 make up winners for Braveheart (everyone else had a page-someone else was not linked though to the Oscars so I changed that), 2 of the 3 were easy, while Peter Frampton (make-up artist) was just plain odd, I put the info I could get and then noticed how oddly some of the info on the IMDB was similar to the singer's, even somehow had the same date of birth and place of birth, so this page is kind of odd, its like how there is that sound mixer named Theodore Soderberg who looks to be 2 different Oscar winners with the same name but just one page is there. (Country) at the 2014 Winter Paralymics

I put this message on the talkpage for Mexico at the 2014 Winter Paralympics already, but I would like for you to see it since you created each entry for the countries at the games.

I'm sure where to put this remark since I see it on every "(Country) at the 2014 Winter Paralympics" entry. The lead section begins "(country) are scheduled to compete..." Shouldn't the verb be is since a country is singular? "(country) is scheduled to compete..." If someone agrees with this comment, every country article for this paralympic game should be changed. I decided to move Richard Tyler (sound engineer) from possibly living to year of death missing

Richard Tyler (sound engineer) started his career in 1932 as a sound engineer, highly unlikely he is alive still. (Though the sound editor of Angels with Dirty Faces is actually alive still, but that was in 1939) But yeah, I never would do this unless if I'm positive this guy has passed, unless if there is any evidence of a Richard Tyler turning 100 in the past few years. I also added one film editor last night after noticing there were tons of people with the same name that were being linked to the wrong person. Almost all the assistant directors are added

One I've having problems with though is Frank Shaw, it is obvious the IMDB page that has the one that won is a completely different person as the one they have that won was a producer in the 40s. I'm leaving alone the dance direction pages for people that can get info on the Broadway people (such as of course they wont have a lot of IMDB credits but tons of plays from those times) Hopefully we can get every Oscar nominated person and film by the end of the year.

The shorts are the ones I'm kind of avoiding. (There are 3 films from the 70s nominated for best song that don't have pages, if they were in the 80s I might of actually heard of them given the fact I was born in the early 80s) Last night I also was checking up on old B-Movies that were having pages linked to other people when they would only have one or 2 real credits. Yes, I saw. Take a look at Category:American novelists - a while back we cleared it out and put everyone in by-century cats, ethnicity cats, gender cats, and genre cats (that way, no-one could complain that their novelist didn't get to live in Category:American novelists. For poets it may be a bit simpler, although we're dividing by state which is a little odd, but c'est la vie, if you wanna do the work and will be touching lots of bios, might as well sort them in all of the diffusing and non-diffusing cats of the parent, like century, gender, ethnicity, etc. I made a container for the the by-ethnicity cats together as well, fwiw.--Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 21:08, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

• Splitting by century for poets may be a little harder than it was for novelitsts. Novels by their very nature are long and involved. What do we do with a poet who had a 3-line poem published in the school newspaper in 1998, but had no widely recognized work come out until 2003?John Pack Lambert (talk) 23:36, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

I don't think overcat in that case will be an issue - I'd say let's go by when they first published in a significant venue. Also while doing this we may want to remove some poets - writing a poem or two doesn't a poet make, we should ensure that RS really describe them as poets.--Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 00:14, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

Well I've added some full length Oscar noms as of late

Which the ones I've added recently are: Sand, This Woman is Mine, Storm Over Bengal and Hitchhike to Happiness. I've also added a couple short films.

In other news I added a page for Robert MacDonald and realized a very similar name also nominated for visuals (yeah common name I know) that seemed to be the same person. A few people I've added I have been unable to find that much about like Nena Danevic who I added last week had only THREE film credits. While others like Randall William Cook, Eustace Lycett and Robert Lawrence I'm surprised had no pages yet. (Check my articles created under my contributes for more of them so you can look around) There still are a few unadded films, mostly from the early 40s under the score category. (The only film that was not nominated in a short cat, foreign film, any of the 3 musical cats or dance direction that has no page yet is Captain Eddie.-or at least I think it is. )

Well costumes and makeup are 2 cats that are almost complete

If you want to add any remaining names go ahead, one thing I ran into is how some of them have links to other people (which I have made a few DAB pages for some) and/or at one point were a deleted page. Visual effects I've been slowly adding but that is the biggest one by far. (Oh and Production design still has a few and I think there is one sound mixer still without a page)

Last night I linked up a bunch of best story nominees that were not linked to the nomination page.
