Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Joey Ciccone. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Do not take the Lord's name in vain: Miles Davis is not to be abused for your attempt at resume building based on the subject's own website. Drmies (talk) 18:00, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have newspaper references that are on the artists website for an article that I am creating. How do I cite them?

You should not cite whatever is on the article website, but the original newspaper article. You'll have to provide enough details so our readers can find the source in a library: Newspaper, publication date, page number, article title, author, ... You may also want to have a look at WP:Referencing for beginners and the {{cite news}} template that's made for citing news sources. Huon (talk) 19:07, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joey Ciccone requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. DGG ( talk ) 06:11, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would like a copy of this article to revise and make it acceptable. thank you

Hi, the Wikipedia Reference Desk might be able to help you with this. Find the topic most closely related to the subject you are asking about, and post the specifics and your request in the appropriate section. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:17, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Misinterpreted your question. To "userfy" the article, you can make your request at WP:REFUND Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:20, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Knockonwood (talk) 18:56, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As you may have noticed from the text above, the {{user recovery}} template isn't going to help you. Admins use that to quickly dispense information to other users. WP:REFUND is where you want to start. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:13, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

advice[edit]

You can start again at AfC if you like, but unless there is more documented material than there was last time, it is extremely unlikely that you will be able to write a satisfactory article. The only two roles documented by IMdB are exceedingly minor. Earlier versions of the article listed a number of additional roles on TC shows and in commercials. If they are as minor as the two that are documented, I must in all fairness tell you that it would not be much of a chance, even if you were ble to document them. We require major roles with good documentation for an acceptable article If you really want to try, and you can tell me that you do have the necessary sources, I will restore the fullest version to your user space, but if it never gets improved to a satisfactory article, it can't stay even there. Please consider first if you really want to do the work with so little a chance of anything coming of it. DGG ( talk ) 03:14, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Las Vegas, Nevada, Joey Ciccone on the set June 2013.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Uploaded for Joey Ciccone. No other use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 04:17, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
