Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Angelo facinelli requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

August 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Toast, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Toast, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hi Matt, I undid your good faith edit to the Toast article. Although well explained, and sourced, it does not qualify as an "alternative definition": it's just a saying in which toast represents what it is. Possibly, the expression could be added back in a brief "popular culture" section, but at this point it seems a bit out of place. Let me know if you have any questions, or disagree. Ocaasi (talk) 13:35, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia headings are added by putting (=) on each side of a title. The more '=' you add, the smaller the heading. So, in the toast article, add back the information and try to add the entire piece as a single sentence under a new heading. Like this:

Popular culture[edit]

The expression, "I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating toast" is used to indicate a person one would like to sleep with, even if that person left crumbs in the sheets.[1]

You can phrase it however you like, but that would be the proper formatting and a more fitting length. Thanks for the addition! Ocaasi (talk) 13:49, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Toast. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. –CWenger (talk) 13:51, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
