VisualEditor news
- You can now double-click or press the ↲ Enter key on an image or template to change its settings. [1] [2]
- Pages that don't exist will now show as red links in the edit mode. [3]
- You will no longer be able to try to use VisualEditor on pages translated using the Translate extension, and you will see a warning if you try to edit pages marked for translation. [4]
- You will now see a full warning, including the most recent log entry, when you try to edit protected pages with VisualEditor. [5]
Future software changes
- Typography Refresh will be enabled for test wiki and MediaWiki.org users who use the Vector skin on March 27. For users on non-Wikipedia wikis, it will be enabled on April 1, and for Wikipedia users on April 3. If you don't use Vector as your skin, you will not be affected.
- You will be able to use the Hovercards tool as a beta feature on all wikis from March 26.

- The latest version of MediaWiki (1.23wmf21) was scheduled to be deployed to test wikis and MediaWiki.org on April 3, however it was temporarily put on hold due to localization issues. (calendar).
- Typography Refresh was enabled on non-Wikipedia wikis on April 1, and on all Wikipedias on April 3. You'll only see it if you use the Vector skin.

VisualEditor news
- You will now see only three options when you try to add a template parameter in VisualEditor; you will see other options after a click. [31]

- The wikitext editor tab will now fold into a drop-down menu in the Vector skin if there is not enough space on your screen. [32] [33]
Future software changes
- The font used for body text on Wikimedia wikis will change to your system default sans-serif font. This temporary change will be enabled on all non-Wikipedia wikis on April 15, and on all Wikipedias on April 17. [34] [35]
- Files from Commons seen on another wiki will soon have a tab saying "View on Wikimedia Commons". The create tab will change to "Add local description" (see screenshot). [36]

Removal of the slogan field from Template:Infobox mobile phone
Could you explain why you reintroduced the slogan field at Template talk:Infobox mobile phone? There are people that oppose the slogan field since it is viewed as marketing material. Problems
- For about 40 minutes on April 17, there were problems with page loading due to high server load.

Notification of a June AfC BackLog Drive

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Elimination Drive!
The goal of this drive is to eliminate the backlog of unreviewed articles. The drive is running from June 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014.
Awards will be given out for all reviewers participating in the drive in the form of barnstars at the end of the drive.

I said the subject was obviously happy for the info to be released into the public domain as she gave an interview to a national newspaper. I did not say the subject contacted you to ask for it to be removed. Although it is interesting that it seems somebody did ask you to remove it. Conflict of interest perhaps? Mdann Even more edits have taken place on the Lipscomb page. I cant even look at another topic as I get daily even hourly alerts. it is an edit war the Biographies of Living perrsons is clearly violated to the point of sanctions. Callanecc's protection to page was totally ignored. This has taken up everyone's time over what "appears" to be a vendetta by WP:SPA I have become a WP:SPA as these non-stop edits allow me to do nothing else.
