Skyfall

There is no need to be bullying, as per your talk page of which you do not tolerate. I feel that the current plot is lacking, I may have been one word over the 700 recommended limit but I do not feel that all of my additions should have been removed within seconds. I have been a user of Wikipedia for far longer than you, and would appreciate some mutual respect. PoliceChief (talk) 21:54, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

Bullying? I am sorry..but where do you have that from? If you feel that is the case then please make a relevant post on an admin board. I was just pointing out that by adding plot bloats you were being disruptive. If you feel your content should be included, then you should discuss it on the talk page, which an experienced editor such as yourself should know, and not just revert the changes and completely hiding the summary hoping that no one would notice. I may not have been actively editing for long, but that does not mean that someone's edits are more important than other peoples. I would like to point out that since 2006 I have been editing occasionally as an IP user. Respect is something that is earned and not given without reason. MisterShiney 22:09, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

Some concerns about first-party sources and self-published sources.

I am addressing some concerns about sources we're using in Skyfall article. As I feel that you're one of the main contributors, I would like to invite you to participate. Anthonydraco (talk) 06:33, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

Also, I've noticed that you're a fan of The Matrix. The Matrix article is short on people, and there are only two editors there who know what they're doing now. Would you care to join us? It should've been a good article long ago. Anthonydraco (talk) 06:33, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

ST: TNG

If you check Paramount's Star Trek website, none of the TNG films have colans in their titles. http://www.startrek.com/database_articles And I assume Paramount knows the correct titles of their own films. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SonOfThornhill (talkcontribs) 14:34, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

Interesting point. I stand corrected. Someone should change that on the actual film. MisterShiney 14:44, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

190.78.20.155 (talk) 07:02, 12 December 2012 (UTC) where I am vandalizing? I deleted the article? I am vandalized the article? what is your evidence and your source? Rockstar Games? that's not vandalize, I suggest you look the "talk" on the page.

I have. I suggest that you yourself look at the talk page where you will see that a consensus has been reached and that evidence has been provided. If you continue to be disruptive in your editing you will be reported further and may face an indefinite block from editing. MisterShiney 08:37, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

quick note on punctuation

I noticed an edit comment you made, and I thought I would swing by and point you to MOS:LQ as a courtesy. While punctuation after quotes in certain cases may be jarring if you grew up with a different system, I think Wikipedia's convention makes much more sense (and I was taught differently myself). --Fru1tbat (talk) 19:34, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Sorry, what edit are you referring to? MisterShiney 19:36, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
This one. --Fru1tbat (talk) 19:54, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Ahhh ok! Thank you :) (does look silly though having them outside lol. But anyway. MisterShiney 20:02, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Hello,

As a contributing editor to the Rockstar Games article, I'm informing you that the article has been fully protected for edit warring. Please use the talk page to develop a consensus about the nationality of the company and if possible, use verifiable sources as support. If a consensus can be reached, please go to the protection request page and request for unprotection. In addition, please use the Twinkle editing tool appropriately. Instances such as these [1] [2] are not considered vandalism. There is not a consensus on the talk page and these edits appear to be edit warring amongst the IPs. Please note that misuse of the editing tools or engaging in edit warring may result in a block. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Icestorm815Talk 19:39, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Hey thanks for the heads up. I was referring as vandalism/disruptive editing because the said IP user had already checked the talk page before (He commented on the discussion before editing it) and he was making, I think you would agree, a substantial encyclopaedic change, without discussion and against an already established compromise. Top Critics

Hello, I invite you to weigh in about "Top Critics" scores from Rotten Tomatoes at this discussion. Erik (talk | contribs) 20:59, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Can you please undo your AIV report against the IP regarding his "Top Critics" contributions? I'll ask him to hold off on edits until we've gone through the WT:FILM discussion. Erik (talk | contribs) 21:21, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Since you are involved. Ill revert it. I was just a bit concerned that he was making these changes without a consensus and wanted an admin to take a look, especially given his edit history seemed to not represent a Neutral Point of view (having edited the essay on the topic). MisterShiney 21:37, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Essays aren't policy, or even guidelines - they serve best as focuses of thought for consideration, and perhaps expression of preference. But I take your meaning, and the explanation for your revert. --Lexein (talk) 00:32, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
Thank you Lexein MisterShiney 21:18, 19 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks

thanks for the welcome, the cookie are yummy, lol MervinVillarreal (talk) 20:18, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

hello..

hello..i'm waiting your answer in World War Z MervinVillarreal (talk) 01:04, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

Quick question

Why are you supporting the American theft of one of our companies? Your actions on the Rockstar Talk Page are both divisive and completely unacceptable given the fact that you display your nationality on your user page. I ask that you either remove any connection to the UK from your page, or start defending our country. Iamthemuffinman 14:15, 28 December 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamthemuffinman (talkcontribs)

Because they havnt stolen anything. Rockstar is a MULTINATIONAL company. You will see that I am pushing for that to be in the opening paragraph as a compromise and in the interest reaching a consensus. Rockstar North is a British company. Rockstar is it's parent company, as mentioned on the talk page:

Rockstar Games is based in America, with it's headquarters in New York.. However the founders Dan Houser and Sam Houser is from London, England. Also you must understand that Rockstar Games is not a studio developing games or anything, but moreover a studio where they handel PR, develop trailers and such, Rockstar Games is more an umbrella for other studios such as Rockstar San Diego, Rockstar North, and that is the studios that develop the games, and also that this is an under studio department for Take-Two Interactive. But in a strange way operating on it's own. I'll get to my point now, Rockstar Games is based in New York but Rockstar North witch develop Grand Theft Auto is based in Scotland, and this is in the UK. BUT Rockstar Games usually called Rockstar NYC, is based in America as it was founded there, to be a umbrella for the rest of the studios, so you cant set a main nationality for Rockstar Games as they got studios all over the world... I hope this clears up the air a little. Zionnomonus (talk) 11:02, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

Rockstar Games cannot actually have a nationality mentioned specifically because it has subsidiaries across the world that all come over the banner of Rockstar Games who as mentioned above, deal with all the marketing/trailers/press/release etc.
Which is where the dispute comes in. If you read the discussion properly you will see that I am actually defending it's British interests by not advocating American ownership in the opening paragraph and I do not appreciate your demands. My user page is mine to do with as I will and I am here for the greater good of wikipedia and not to satisfy your nationalistic views. If you wish to join the discussion then please do so constructively. MisterShiney 14:33, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
A company created by two British people, in Britain both at the beginning of its life and when it launched one of the most successful gaming franchises, is quite clearly British. Much the same way we call companies like Rolls Royce and Jaguar "British". If you were as you claim "defending it's British interests" then you would support the article clearly stating that it is British from the off, instead, you seem to support some hideous "multinational" compromise. That won't do. And it certainly wont do when you display our flag on your page, so either defend the flag you display, or remove it from your page altogether. Iamthemuffinman 14:57, 28 December 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamthemuffinman (talkcontribs)
No, actually Rockstar Games was created in the US. Granted by two Brits. Rockstar North is British. Please get your facts right and not make any undue demands of a user. Wikipedia is not a page to be political. MisterShiney 15:15, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
Except for the small fact that it wasn't. It was created in the UK as DMA or whatever, it was bought by a US Company, who looted their best works, created a new company and managed to convince the world that things like GTA are from the US. Rockstar is British. My facts are very right. I will demand from you as much as I like, and if you do not alter your stance, I will remove the flags myself. I am not giving you room for negotiation or discussion at this point. Iamthemuffinman 15:40, 28 December 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamthemuffinman (talkcontribs)
That is original research unless you have reliable sources to support it. If you do have reliable sources for these claims that support Rockstar Games being identified as a British company, then please do take them to the article talk page and contribute to the discussion there.
I should point out that removing content form my user page would count as Vandalism and you will be reported for it. Consider that your only warning. MisterShiney 16:01, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
And acting against the interests of your country is considered treason, I take that far more seriously than your ever so scary warning. If I do not see a change in your stance, then I will remove the flags and will continue to do so until you decide to keep them off yourself. Iamthemuffinman 16:09, 28 December 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamthemuffinman (talkcontribs)
Thank you. Please call the police if you feel this is the case. I am sure that they will take this very seriously and will be eager to act on your tip. Don't forget to dial 9 for an outside line if calling from an extension line. Happy New year. MisterShiney 16:13, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
If you really want to engage me in a hostile edit war, carry on with your glib and sarcastic tone. Iamthemuffinman 16:23, 28 December 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamthemuffinman (talkcontribs)
Edit War? I am confused? I was not being sarcastic. I was being deadly serious. It is your civic duty to report anyone who could be suspected of treason. MisterShiney 16:38, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
You just declared war on me. Iamthemuffinman 16:52, 28 December 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamthemuffinman (talkcontribs)
In what way...? I am seriously trying to understand your logic here. MisterShiney 17:01, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
You decided to escalate this conflict with your snarky little templates. I have sat down for shits longer than you have edited Wikipedia. How dare you template me? How dare you try to patronise me? Now you can live with my retaliations. You are the distruptive one. Iamthemuffinman 17:10, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
They were not snarky templates. They are nice and quick ways to politely ask/remind a user about policies and requests. It would seem that we have reached an impasse. I shall ask for arbitration on this matter as you are constantly disrupting my talk page. You have threatened to remove content from my user page. What started out as a genuine question from yourself has escalated quickly when you did not receive the response you wanted. I shall leave it in the hands of the admins. I ask again that you do not remove content from my own talk page, and let it archive automatically. MisterShiney 17:29, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

December 2012

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:Iamthemuffinman, you may be blocked from editing. Adding pointless warnings and templates. Iamthemuffinman 16:24, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

Please see What vandalism is not. You will see it was a polite notice telling you to sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) or by clicking on the signature button or located above the edit window and not vandalism. If you do still feel this is the case then please do go and report me on the relevant admin board which can be found here. If you wish to continue to edit Wikipedia, I respectfully suggest that you make yourself aware of the Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Of which I will provide a link to on your talk page for your reference. MisterShiney 16:35, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
Is that a legal threat? One more and I will report you for it. Iamthemuffinman 16:54, 28 December 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamthemuffinman (talkcontribs)
?? Please explain how you see this as a "Legal Threat"? MisterShiney 17:00, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
