If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tracy's Street Kitchen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ... discospinster talk 19:57, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm SovalValtos. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Nottingham Academy, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. September 2018[edit]

I stopped over to the Nottingham Academy page and saw all the brilliant work you have being doing. Congratulations. You seems to lack contact with other editors, and are getting unfairly criticised because of that. I am adding you to my watchlist so I can give you a little support if you need it. It is always hard to create new articles- as the wrath of Hades is immediately directed against you, while if you edit on existing topics you are generally ignored- you build up your edit count, and experience and then can more easily fight the demons.ClemRutter (talk) 21:40, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Good to see you are still around. Is there any way I can persuade you to have a look at some other Nottingham academies too? We have the two contrasting Carlton schools- Carlton Academy which is a bare skeleton, and Carlton-le-Willows Academy which goes the other way? Any thoughts. Have you examined the edit code for the map in the infobox. This could be added to many other Nottingham schools- obviously with the co-ordinates changed. I have a page I am working on User:ClemRutter/sandbox/maps that explains how. Just a thought, you haven't started on you user page yet- you could use it to display all that text I deleted yesterday (it is still there if you click on the right page history). ClemRutter (talk) 14:49, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@ClemRutter: Hi! yes, I currently attend Nottingham Academy and i update the school's Wikipedia when i have new information however the information i have is normally a physical copy which means references become hard to include, for example i cannot include the history behind the Greenwood Campus and I cannot include the full story behind the first Pride event at the school. I'd be happy to look at other pages but as i am quite new to Wikipedia it can be quite hard to navigate. If you have any advice with the referencing information that i hold as a physical copy that would be a massive help! Naathaniel (talk) 13:24, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The rule is that references can be on paper or online. If they are on paper- they must be publically available. If they have an ISBN number just use that- if not add a comment statement saying where they can be found, eg <!-- copy held 2019 by Jesse Boot school library--> . I would try first to use the Templates provided in the wiki source editor- otherwise <ref name="make it up" >Name, Title, Year, <!-- copy held 2019 by Jesse Boot school library--> </ref> ClemRutter (talk) 10:03, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@ClemRutter: Okay! This is something I can work with and hopefully add more detail especially in the history of Greenwood Campus section. Thank you so much for this information!
