Writing on Wikipedia[edit]
You are welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, but it is not a social media site like Facebook or a personal web site. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles. Writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography.
