Jack Abbott

Hey there. I saw that you are working on Jack Abbott in your sandbox. Recently unfortunately the page has been redirected. Would you be whiling to to work on it in its article space with an Under Construction tag? 01:23, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

If you want, I'd be willing to help you with Jack's sandbox. Creativity97 02:56, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Infobox discussion

Hi - I started a discussion here on the infobox changes. I know we've been testing it out but the edit wars are starting switching back and forth between the boxes, so I'm hoping we might be able to come to a quick consensus? I've also started this sandbox, just an IMO version of what we could use. Let me know what you think! Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 06:55, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 25

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of The Young and the Restless characters (2010s), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Daniel Goddard (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Michael Corinthos

I had started a discussion on the talk page for putting storylines before development, and the only feedback I got was one agreement, no opposition. I also referenced this in my edit summary. Can we please discuss on the talk page if you feel differently? I feel it's easier to understand the way I switched it, and my reasoning is at the talk page discussion. Thanks Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 23:39, 10 December 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Genie francis laura.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Genie francis laura.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:04, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

Infobox

Got it working! Here is the template sandbox, and here in my sandbox are examples in use. Will update the edit request now. Thanks for your help! Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 07:28, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

EQ

Hey Nik - User:AnemoneProjectors was able to make the infobox changes for us so we didn't have to wait! I was wondering, since we are using screenshots more now, what do you think about going back to the 2009 image that's in the history of the Edward Quartermaine photo? I think it portrays him well, but saw you had uploaded the other photo since then. Also I found this photo if you like that better? Let me know what you think! Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 19:26, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

One more that might be good for him! Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 19:40, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
The picture from the personality quiz looks like it is more recent, I'd go with that one.--Nk3play2 my buzz 23:08, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

A couple questions

Hello - do you have any clue why the new image file for Skye Chandler isn't working?? It's driving me crazy. Also, I was wondering if you've ever come across any sources that actually state that GH rewrote Asher Thomas to be A.J's killer instead of Michael due to viewer upset that Michael would have killed his father as a child. I know I've heard that but can't find anything that says it for fact. Thanks! Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 22:10, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

When it comes to Skye's picture it may take a while for it to load properly, or you can always have it deleted and upload it again. Um... I am not sure about them rewriting Michael being AJ's killer because viewer backlash, but why, did I use it in Michael's article?
No it was in the prose on the History of GH page but unsourced. I tried for a while to find a source but couldn't so I rewrote it, but I thought maybe it was the truth. Maybe just speculated. Thought you might know since you've read a lot of Michael sources. I am going to leave it rewritten/not saying that unless I come across something then. Thanks! Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 02:55, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
Well you can remove it, but come to think of it, I think there was a lot of fan backlash when they were gonna have Michael be AJ's murderer in 2005, and the rewrote it at the last minute to appease the fans. However, I haven't been able to find a source. Do what you think is best with the information.--Nk3play2 my buzz 03:43, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Gh barash 1.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Gh barash 1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 09:05, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Dylan McAvoy

Hey, I noticed you started a sandbox for this character. I've also begun writing his article. I'm not sure how this is gonna work... It's not a major problem. However, because you are already developing an article for Tyler Michaelson, I'd really like to do Dylan's. Please respond asap. Thanks. Arre 05:59, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:JoshDuhon.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:JoshDuhon.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 21:52, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
