Editing Quebec telemarketing[edit]

I just saved your article from being deleted. Don't go back in and insert things that might call it to the attention of other editors who like to delete new articles written by new editors-some people like to do this all day long. The references should be cited in-line. They will then appear in the reference section if you format them correctly. I just didn't spend an hour of my time to have the article changed back into the condition that will get it deleted. Best Regards,

License tagging for File:Adam Thibault.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Adam Thibault.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this recent edit to French telemarketing, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If that's really the case, then:

  • why have you and these five other accounts been working so obsessively to create articles about a completely non-notable company, under a variety of guises, no less than twelve articles about this "Quebec Telemarketing" or alternate names?
  • where are the reliable sources? Can you point to a single legitimate news article about this company?
  • why is it so important to you that there be a Wikipedia article on this company, anyway? What attracted you to it?
  • what is your relationship to accounts Rinikusmiati‎, Fahmiyatna‎, Ayurahayu‎, Susi hasti‎ and Tete hastuti? There's clearly a connection: when Tete hastuti's unblock request was refused, it was on the grounds that "your primary account" make the request: and here you are, doing so.
  • finally, will you pledge that if unblocked, you will not recreate an article on Quebec Telemarketing in any form, by that name or any of its alternate names?

Shawn in Montreal (talk) 02:00, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I may add to Shawn in Montreal's questions, the fact that I am concerned with the fact that, using numerous accounts, you have repeatedly created articles which have had various different titles, designed to give the impression that they are on different subjects, but which in fact all link to one business. I suggest that you should consider explaining that, if you want your unblock request to have any chance of success. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:25, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have just read a comment from another editor saying that you have used at least twelve different titles for different copies of your spam article. I had no idea it was that many. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:31, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, my mistake. What the editor said was that you have created at least twelve versions/copies of the article, not that you used twelve different titles. However, my point applies equally to at least twelve creations under at least eight titles. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk)
Yes, that was a list compiled and maintained by User:MelanieN at the SPI page: there have been twelve attempts to create articles, though that includes multiple attempts with the same name. If one goes to Quebec Marketing's amateurish webpage, you'll see that have a long list of IDs they use -- so the permutations are basically endless. (I should add that as a bona fide Quebecer, I don't see how this can really be a Quebec company as neither an English company name nor a partly English corporate (for want of a better term) website are legal under our language laws, and I've seen IP editing from Asia during this case -- so I worry Wikipedia may be being used to abet something deceptive.) Shawn in Montreal (talk) 11:41, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'll just add that "i would like to fix and improve my content" sounds very much like the editor will resume promoting "Quebec Telemarketing". Let me be clear: this outfit has been found to be non-notable repeatedly -- there is currently no way to "improve" it. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 15:03, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing admin and/or @JamesBWatson: There are some fresh CU results here that you will want to see. —DoRD (talk) 21:30, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've raised it at the other SPI. So what we appear to have is paid editing for a non-notable Montreal roofer -- also repeatedly recreated -- as well as this telemarketing outfit, and I suspect what this outfit is attempting to offer clients are Wikipedia articles in addition to whatever business/mischief they can drum up by phone. I was always puzzled by the sockpuppeteer's first article, a legitimate article on a Montreal football player, Adam Thibault. It's been rewritten since, given this editor's utter incompetence in the English language, but I wonder if this was not a kind of audition piece, to show clients: look, we can create Wikipedia articles for you. • Well, based on this this CheckUser report, you appear to be a bald-faced, unrepentent liar. So my advice to you is don't let the door hit you on the way out. Goodbye. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 01:35, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Since I blocked this account, I will not deal with the unblock requests, but will leave it to another administrator, so that you get an independent review. However, if you had been blocked by another administrator, I would have no hesitation in declining your requests. In view of the amounts of similarity in editing, even without the CheckUser results, the claim that you "do not have any relation or connection" any other accounts would be obviously false without any doubt. There are similarities in content of editing, in use of English, in tricks used in trying to avoid deletion of new copies of your spam article, and so on. Add to that the CheckUser results connecting this account to seven other accounts, and the claim becomes utterly absurd. The administrator reviewing these unblock requests may also like to look at the declined unblock request at User talk:Tete hastuti.
