Proposed deletion of St Mark's School, Hong Kong[edit]

The article St Mark's School, Hong Kong has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Empty page, no context

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

File source problem with File:Liu Tianhua.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Liu Tianhua.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:16, 26 December 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. FASTILYsock(TALK) 06:16, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Li Huanzhi.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Li Huanzhi.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 06:22, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing a close-bracket; fixed - there is something wrong with the coords though, but I'll leave that to you; give us another shout if you have trouble.  Chzz  ►  14:50, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

{{helpme}} How to make something like Wikipedia:Footnotes#Reference_name_.28naming_a_ref_tag_so_it_can_be_used_more_than_once.29 on my page User:Notnd/Sandbox? --Notnd (talk) 14:14, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's done. The first time you use the reference you give it a name.
<Ref name-"NAME">text of reference</ref>
The next time you use it you just use the name with an ending slash:
<Ref name-"NAME" />
Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 14:26, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
An example of how it works;
Chzz was born in 1837, <ref name="MyBook">
"The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009.
</ref> in Footown.<ref name="MyBook"/>

Note that the second usage has a / (and no closing ref tag). You still need a references section of course. Please see user:chzz/demo/namedref to see this example.  Chzz  ►  14:35, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's a bit shocking that you are that old Chzz;-)--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 14:40, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Holy Nativity Church requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Possibly unfree File:Stmarks schoolbadge.gif[edit]

See User:Notnd/Sandbox5. How to make the Template for Shenzhen Metro(above) like the one for the Hong Kong MTR(below)? --Notnd (talk) 10:35, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{s-line}} requires you to set up additional pages in order for it to work properly. You need to create a family of 5 templates in order to cause it to work properly; instructions are on Template:S-line itself. (See the "Making it Work" section.) You may want to ask somewhere like the help desk or technical village pump for help with setting up the templates, if you can't work out how to do it yourself. Hope that helps! --ais523 15:16, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Music sheet from IMSLP[edit]

Hi Notnd, I'm French and I don't speak English very well so forgive English mistakes. I suppose you're the user of the "Notnd" account in IMSLP. I've seen on your user talk page you have some pieces I would like to play but I can't download them from Europe cause of copyright ! I play the piano since several years and I would like to play the flight of the Bumblebee (Rimski-Korsakov solo piano arrangement) and mo-li-hua (jasmine flower, some of beautiful traditional Chinese music) but I have never found their music sheets in France. I don't know how to ask you : if I give you a mail adress, would you download them from Asia and send it to me ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caocoa (talkcontribs) 10:08, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
