David Edwards (engineer)[edit]

Hi - thanks for contacting me for help with your article on David Edwards (engineer).

You have a clear conflict of interest regarding your employment by a company owned by this person which you recognise on your User page, but I think that should extend to the individual, too. This is not only to avoid bias, but also to ensure that articles have sufficient WP:notability. The article in question has a history of authorship by people who know the individual and act on his behalf, e.g. User talk:Mxaviere, which makes me a bit wary of the notability of this subject. The article already looks sufficient, bearing in mind there are many pioneering engineers with no article at all.

Wikipedia desperately needs more work to improve many important articles where you no doubt have basic technical knowledge; perhaps you can get stuck into those? All the best. Wikiwayman (talk) 15:05, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
