That was just a safety copy when the article was up for deletion. I should always remove categories when i keep a safety copy. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 23:36, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi - I see you have recently created one or more new stub types. As it states at Wikipedia:Stub, at the top of most stub categories, and in many other places on Wikipedia, it is recommended that new stub types are proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, in order to check whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it is otherwise correctly formatted, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies. Your new stub type is currently listed at WP:WSS/D - please feel free to make any comments there as to any rationale for this stub type. And please, in future, consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 00:14, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

It actually looks like it may have been proposed at some point in the past, so it may be a case of turning a blind eye to it - see further comment at WP:WSS/D. Grutness...wha? 00:27, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

For the BOGH - I just happened to spot the edit on my watchlist. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) (AKA Betsy McFakename) deserves some credit too. Cheers! Acroterion (talk) 19:11, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Rolling Hills Asylum

I was reading your article for Rolling Hills Asylum. You should have some better intro text at the beginning of the article – like "Rolling Hills Asylum (in bold) is a former mental institution (or whatever it was), now converted as a museum (or whatever)." Right now, the article just jumps right into the history of the place without first describing what it is... if you get my meaning. Notice how other articles usually begin with a basic opening statement of what the subject is. Just a suggestion. I was going to change it but you know more about that place than I do. Pépé et sa guitare

I see that you have nominated Pépé et sa Guitare for speedy deletion. I'm in the process of adding new information to the article, but I thought I'd touch base and let you know I'm on it.

In terms of notability, Proulx was nominated for a Felix (Québec's version of the Grammys) in 2006, and has received significant coverage in the French-language Canadian press. I'll let you know when the links are up on his page. - Haunti Talk 17:18, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Skeptic.

You tagged this article for speedy deletion, and I know that you did that in good faith. I commented on the appropriate admin's talk page here. If you feel strongly that the article ought to go, may I suggest AfD? - Richard Cavell (talk) 04:02, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Pictures

Since you've so obligingly offered, could you take a look at the various National Register of Historic Places listings for counties west of Rochester, like National Register of Historic Places listings in Erie County, New York and see if there are any images you already have or can easily obtain? An article about a building without an illustration is a sad, lifeless thing, so anything you can contribute would be much appreciated. Acroterion (talk) 02:43, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

I'll start working on it :) Paranormal Skeptic (talk) 03:47, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Thanks - the sad little image-less (and in many cases, word-less) articles of western New York will be so happy! There's no hurry or anything - out of 80,000 National Register articles, only 15,000 have been written, but that's up from around 10,000 eight months ago.
