Robert Payne article[edit]

I have revised the article, aiming to give a coherent summary of Robert Payne's life and literary output, and a balanced view of critical commentary on his works. On this latter point I should explain that as Wikipedia aspires to the status of an encyclopedia, we follow a policy of "neutrality", meaning that we strive for an impartial account of commentary that has appeared in reliable published sources, not advocating any particular view ourselves. For instance, we would not give undue prominence to excerpts from reviews that had been reproduced on the cover of the book, being aware that publishers will tend to select the most favourable quotes!

If you have any further concerns please raise them on the article's talk page, where any editor may respond; or if you wish to communicate with me in particular, my talk page is here. With regards: Noyster (talk), 01:15, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
