Sonic Alpha and Beta[edit]

They were merged due to the content being pointless. There is a discussion about them on the Beta talk page, and the consensus it to keep them merged, and just expand the section. Can you please revert yourself, so it doesn't appear that I'm edit warring? Nemu 17:38, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

LOL at my post on the sonic 2 talk page Philip1992 17:42, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Philip1992[reply]

Is that a no? Nemu 17:43, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It been not merged for a while now. I guess it should be now redirected Philip1992 17:46, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Philip1992[reply]

Hey, do you plan to do anything with this? The userpage policy says that subpages are allowed for works-in-progress, but it hasn't been edited in a year, and it's unlikely to survive in the main space because the article it was merged into was deleted in the Pokémon video game glitches AFD. If you agree with this assessment, please tag the article with {{db-author}}. Thanks. hbdragon88 (talk) 06:58, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder if you could only make the the page viewable by myself and admins? Philip1992 (talk) 12:43, 25 November 2007 (UTC)Philip1992[reply]
Not possible unless you're an admin. And you have too few edits to have a chance of succeeding. Do you agree with my assessment? Do you think you'll be able to go to WP:DRV and ocnvince them to overturn the video game glitches AFD so that, after you're done working on it, you can resend it to the mainspace. hbdragon88 (talk) 04:49, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That was quick Philip1992 (talk) 18:25, 27 November 2007 (UTC)Philip1992[reply]

I'm going to have to second that request for you to add {{db-author}} to the page... our guidelines state that stuff like this may not be considered useful (as it says in the guidelines, "Extensive writings and material on topics having virtually no chance whatsoever of being directly useful to the project, its community, or an encyclopedia article ... may be delete") Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:50, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (prototypes) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. pablohablo. 20:16, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New users would find it useful as it has info on prototype versions of Sonic 2 Philip1992 (talk) 20:25, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Philip1992[reply]

It doesn't have any information at all. pablohablo. 20:29, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

February 2009[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (prototypes). Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. I have not replaced the speedy deletion template, instead I have proposed deletion. This gives other editors the chance to come and look at this page. pablohablo. 20:44, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (prototypes)[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (prototypes), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

There seems to be nothing here except a bunch of links. Anything that could go in this article could go in the existing pages Sonic 2 Alpha and Sonic 2 Beta

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. pablohablo. 20:45, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I sorted that out Philip1992 (talk) 16:42, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Philip1992[reply]

You seem to be having a problem with that book, maybe checking out Help:Books would help you. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 04:48, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, if you want to delete old user pages, you can simply place {{db-u1}} at the top of the page, and an administrator will delete it soon after. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 11:21, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games#Merging Book:Pokémon: The one for Pokémon news with Book:Pokémon

Hi Phillip1992. You've recently created Book:Pokémon: The one for Pokémon news (originally Wikipedia:Books/Pokemon). However, I notice there is a lot of duplication (100%?) with Book:Pokémon so I wonder what is the best option here. Right now I'm leaning towards merging and redirecting to Book:Pokémon. WikiProject Pokémon and WikiProject Videogames have both been contacted, and the discussion is taking place here. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 06:15, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Book:Pokémon: The one for Pokémon news, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Book:Pokémon: The one for Pokémon news and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Book:Pokémon: The one for Pokémon news during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you.

(BTW, this supplants the previous discussion, so don't bother with it.) Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 19:34, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Speedy deletion nomination of Knig[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Knig, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
