File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Sagar S.JPG[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Sagar S.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Puffin Let's talk! 13:38, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Geniac. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Mungaru Male seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 02:23, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 31[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Upma, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tamil (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Stop icon Your addition to Kesari bhath has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. CactusWriter (talk) 15:29, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Rajesh (Kannada actor), you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. As said, per MOS, honorifics are not to be included. In addition to these, you seem to be adding too much of puffery.  Abhishek  Talk 12:38, 19 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

SPB[edit]

Hi, the stuff you added is really unwanted in a BLP. SPB might say anything since he is very much popular in all the three territories—Andhra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. We cannot add everything mentioned in interviews. There are numerous other things to be added about him. Vensatry (Ping me) 17:04, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

He has sung in all languages and how can what he say not be important. He has mentioned time and again not only to the Kannada media, also to the english media NDTV un his interview that Kannada fans are my first fans. I have not been respected in any part of the country like the way Karnataka respects me. I want to be born as a kannadiga in my next life. He has not said this once. He has said it 'n' num of times and he has not only said it to Kannada media. He has said it to English media too. He also goes on to say that tomrw other media may qstn me for saying this. But I Dont care. This is my stand. So how would this v strong view of his not important for his page. This is a v imp thing amongst the numerous other things that is to be added about him. Thanks Prakashlyrics (talk) 17:24, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at S. P. Balasubrahmanyam shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. "legendary"[edit]

Hello. I have reverted some of your recent edits because they were unsourced and unconstructive. You seem to like using the word "legendary", but I would strongly advise against it. When someone has written 3000 songs, it's impressive enough for the reader. If you then say he is a "legendary" song writer, most certainly the reader will stop believing you. And that will reflect poorly on Wikipedia. Thanks, Biwom (talk) 06:28, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm NOTNOTABLE. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Juhi Chawla seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Information icon Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Juhi Chawla. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Your statement about the acting school is fine, but none of the statements about "rewriting history books" or "record breaking hits" are sourced. Please source them and rewrite without using WP:PEACOCK terms. NOTNOTABLE (talk) 20:34, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, re: these changes per WP:UGC and our reliable sources guidelines, we don't use random websites or blogs as references. Anyone with an internet connection can start a blog or website and posture as an expert on any subject. Often there are unscrupulous site operators who make money by regurgitating inaccurate box office date churned out by film promotional companies. To avoid these problems, the community only cares what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say. That means mainstream newspapers and their online presences, magazines, books, etc. Unless you're prepared to convince the Indian cinema task force that "logicalmoviereviews.com" and "fabnewz.com" are reliable sources with reputations for accuracy and fact-checking, they should not be used. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:02, 3 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

January 2017[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Mungaru Male 2. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Diff: [1] Nowhere in this reference does it say Mungaru Male 2 grossed 25 crore. In fact, the article says "Mungaru Male 2 has earned about Rs. 17 crore at the worldwide box office by the end of its second weekend." Your change is indistinguishable from vandalism. Please be sure your future financial changes are consistent with the references you are using. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:56, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
