What I added was important, verifiable and very relevant information about Oracle's decision to reverse the decision to stop development of Oracle Rdb and other products targeting the Itanium platform. Stadium Mustard _ the information in this entry contains false and subjective information.

Pratyya -

You recently undid my edits on Stadium Mustard. I tried to take down a page that misrepresented Stadium Mustard and replace it with a stub while I rewrite the page. There are inaccuracies in this entry. Also, it contains advertorial comments, i.e., opinions that have no place in an encyclopedia. An example is - "While the Davis Foods Company trademarked the name 'Stadium Mustard' in 1969" is incorrect. I want to correct this information.

PR Spark Plug I'm really sorry for the late reply. For my browser problem I couldn't connect WP, that's why I couldn't reply. Anyway this diff shows that you have removed a lot of information from that page. But you can't remove a huge number of writing without discussing the community by posting message at the talk page of that article or at teahouse or help desk. Also after your edit to that article the page was unreferenced, uncaterogized . That's why I reverted the edit

WikiProject Good Articles Recruitment Centre

Hello! Now, some of you might be wondering why there is a Good article icon with a bunch of stars around (to the right). The answer? WikiProject Good articles will be launching a Recruitment Centre very soon! The centre will allow all users to be taught how to review Good article nominations by experts just like you! However, in order for the Recruitment Centre to open in the first place, we need some volunteers:
  • Recruiters: The main task of a recruiter is to teach users that have never reviewed a Good article nomination how to review one. To become a recruiter, all you have to do is meet this criteria. If we don't get at least 5-10 recruiters to start off with, the Recruitment Centre will not open. If interested, make sure you meet the criteria, read the process and add your name to the list of recruiters. (One of the great things about being a recruiter is that there is no set requirement of what must be taught and when. Instead, all the content found in the process section is a guideline of the main points that should be addressed during a recruitment session...you can also take an entire different approach if you wish!) If you think you will not have the time to recruit any users at this time but are still interested in becoming a recruiter, you can still add your name to the list of recruiters but just fill in the "Status" parameter with "Not Available".
  • Co-Director: The current Director for the centre is me (Dom497). Another user that would be willing to help with some of the tasks would be helpful. Tasks include making sure recruiters are doing what they should be (teaching!), making sure all recruitments are archived correctly, updating pages as needed, answering any questions, and distributing the feedback form. If interested, please contact me (Dom497).
  • Nominators, please read this: If you are not interested in becoming a recruiter, you can still help. In some cases a nominator may have an issue with an "inexperienced" editor (the recruitee) reviewing one of their nominations. To minimize the chances of this happening, if you are fine with a recruitee reviewing one of your nominations under the supervision of the recruiter, please add your name to the list at the bottom of this page. By adding your name to this list, chances are that your nomination will be reviewed more quickly as the recruitee will be asked to choose a nomination from the list of nominators that are OK with them reviewing the article.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing this program bring new reviewers to the Good article community and all the positive things it will bring along.

I think it looks bad when the same link/template is repeated over and over. And I looked at several surfer's articles and they don't have that. Please give at least one link to an article that does. Also you are saying about Edit War. I don't think I have done any edit war. The rule clearly says An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page—whether involving the same or different material—within a 24-hour period. An edit or a series of consecutive edits that undoes other editors' actions—whether in whole or in part—counts as a revert. Violations of the rule normally attract blocks of at least 24 hours. Any appearance of gaming the system by reverting a fourth time just outside the 24-hour slot is likely to be treated as an edit-warring violation.

Pratyya, the 3RR is edit/revert warring at its worst. You quoted the first part of the second paragraph, skipping the first and not going to the last sentence that says, "The three-revert rule is a convenient limit for occasions when an edit war is happening fairly quickly, but it is not a definition of what "edit warring" means, and it is perfectly possible to edit war without breaking the three-revert rule, or even coming close to doing so." Then in the next section/paragraph there's a link to WP:BRD. Also please read WP:REV. You'll see that one thing it says is how important it is to give a reason for reverting -- if not in the summary then on a talk page.
Now, about the issue: the example you gave (even though I don't agree with it) it's not as bad. It has one that is repeated consecutively, but Bethany Hamilton has 10 of the same links in a row! Very unnecessary. But, I won't pursue it anymore. I just hope we don't have another issue like this again. --Musdan77 (talk) 21:06, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Arctic Kangaroo, you do not need any software to download STiki, if you use Windows. I use Windows. At STiki Main Page, there's a section called download and there's the latest STiki product like

STiki 2.1 – Current version released 2013-05-23 (919 kB).

AK, after saving it it'll be saved in your computer's Downloads file. It'll look like STiki_exec_2013_05_23. It can be different in your PC. It looks like this in my PC. Now after opening it you'll find your JAR file STiki. It should work. You try re-downloading it or follow my words.

Hi Prattya Ghosh, while updating List of Indigenous Australian firsts I somehow managed to blank out the whole article (I'll blame internet error) and in the two seconds before I was able to revert my blanking your rapid response meant that it looked like I decided to blank an article I created and whose expanded contents I'm now 98% responsible for. Rest assured, the accidental blanking was not the proudest moment of my 9 year, 21,000 + edits on Wikipedia and if you don't mind, I'll remove the bot added message from you on my talk page that makes it look like I'm a wikivandal. Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions

We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:

Views/Day
Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
Quality
Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.

The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:

Content
Is more content needed?
Headings
Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
Images
Is the number of illustrative images about right?
Links
Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
Sources
For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. The issue with milestone updating should be resolved. I was absolutely killing my server last night with work, so I suspect that is why the update failed. When I forced the milestone update this morning, you noticed that your name did not show up. This is because that script calculates all thresholds calculated in the *24 hours prior to runtime*. Because it was run at ~10AM (my local time), that means you must have crossed the threshold between 1AM (when the script usually runs) and 10AM (my time, again) the previous day (i.e., more than 24 hours). I forced a rewind and re-ran and you were the only case affected. Apologies for that. I expect everything to move smoothly moving forward. Regardless, congrats on crossing the 10k threshold.
