Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on European club rugby, by Pretty Green (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because European club rugby fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

I created this page in error

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting European club rugby, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 11:16, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hi, welcome to Transnistria, the greatest sockpuppetry playground in the whole of Wikipedia! Sorry, but can I ask whose sockpuppet you would be...? ;-)

Fut.Perf. 10:56, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmmm, well,.... sorry for "biting the newcomers"; if you're in fact a genuine newcomer then I hope you'll accept my apologies. But still, I can't help feeling that you are not quite as new to this game as you want to make it appear. We're all a bit paranoid about sockpuppets over at that article, of course. We've just been seeing too many of them, you know. Fut.Perf. 11:25, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings from WikiProject Cycling![edit]

Thank you for your recent contributions to one of Wikipedia's cycling-related articles. Given the interest you've expressed by your edits, have you considered joining WikiProject Cycling? It's a group dedicated to improving the overall quality of all cycling-related articles.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask at the project talk page, or feel free to ask me on my talk page.  --SeveroTC 19:42, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why you had to make those edits to that article. Couldn't you have done those in your sandbox? – PeeJay 12:23, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, mate. I understand where you're coming from. I hope you don't mind but I've been through the article and given it a proper shakedown in terms of spelling, links, etc. Should be almost worthy of B-Class now. – PeeJay 13:04, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Hand of God" image[edit]

Just a quick note - since File:Hand of God goal.jpg‎ is a non-free image (especially since it's a wire service image, so it's a commercial product in and of itself), and should not be used in the infobox, or anywhere other than the discussion of the photograph (WP:NFCC#8 and all that). Otherwise, thanks for your work on the England v Argentina article. Cheers. --Mosmof (talk) 14:14, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Goal[edit]

Is it all covered in the match article? This seems to have more information. Enigmamsg 06:09, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

UK election page move[edit]

As you have previously participated in discussions to move "Next United Kingdom general election" to "United Kingdom general election, 2009", I am writing to inform you that the discussion is once again taking place at Talk:Next United Kingdom general election#Page move, revisited. -Rrius (talk) 23:47, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NewcastleGateshead[edit]

Inclusion of venues of training facilities seems to be placing an Anglocentric emphasis that is not found in the summary of the other bids: the cited article from the BBC makes no mention of Gateshead. Other bids have regional implications: the region, or made-up-compound-brand-name, is not the proposed venue. I would ask you to reconsider. Kevin McE (talk) 10:29, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Pretty Green! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Thanks / Some more "enlightment"[edit]

Hi there GREEN, VASCO here,

Thanks very much for your input here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football#POV_or_not_POV), sincerely. My writing style is indeed close to journalese, but not in a POVish way i hope, i am only trying to help. I know this is an encyclopedia, but i thought a little of "free writing" would be encouraged. I'm not a big fan of the "machine-like" writing i often found in articles stating: "In 2006, he signed with x team, scoring y goals. In 2007, he signed for z team, scoring k goals...so on, so on".

With the utmost respect for your work, i do have to say i don't understand why all the "citation needed" bits in the Alan Osório da Costa Silva article, when the POV is all but gone (saying he was a "key element" in V.Guimarães, when he played in 29 out of 30 games and the team finished third out of the second division requires citation? Clicking in both links show he shared team with R.Quaresma, an established Portuguese international - i removed CN tag in that one only - hope it's OK - after rephrasing it duly. Also, the games where he scored this or that goal in this or that game all appear in LINK#1 (zerozerofootball.com), i just don't see the point of "doubling" same source as link and ref). I am really at a loss, honestly. Attentively, have a great weekend, from Portugal - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 13:12, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • NEWSFLASH! Added two more refs (Portuguese site, but in English, good good goodie!), cheers - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 13:27, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for that tip on "doubling" REFS mate, already knew it though. Keep it up - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 14:34, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Formula One tables[edit]

Of course, there's no reason why this couldn't be applied for years since the drop-worst rule appeared and not previously. There is reason. If we add it in, then sooner or later someone will apply it to other years affected by dropped scores. Then we have an extended edit war. --Falcadore (talk) 14:58, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your recent edit to the article. While you may think it was innocuous and you were being WP:BOLD, there's a lengthy discussion about it on the article's talk page.
