Hi, to answer your question on Talk:Pelagic zone: On the topic of "cruft", or "fancruft" (is that what you mean?) WP:CRUFT may be able to provide some basic info, but since I'm not exactly sure about your situation, it is probably best to ask the more experienced editors at Wikipedia's Help Desk. And FYI, if you have more questions about how Wikipedia works in the future, it is probably better to ask over at the Help Desk or at the talk page of the article in question (i.e., Talk:Star Trek) if it is about content.
