um...[edit]

I don't think my comment was uncivil--the talk page is long, and basically unreadable. However, I do think that editing other people's talk page comments isn't a good idea. Please refrain from it in the future--if you have a problem with a comment someone's made, why not contact them before editing it out? --Akhilleus (talk) 14:00, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

it was not the best thing for you to write when everyone is so heated.  rdunnalbatross  14:02, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps that's true, but editing other people's talk page comments is usually not a way to make things calmer either. --Akhilleus (talk) 14:04, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I apologise then. the rules about editing talk comments conflict with the civil rules so I felt it best so that the talk page doesnt desend into a slanging match.  rdunnalbatross  14:08, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

UAA[edit]

Hi, thanks for the report. Vandalism, however, is not reported at UAA (which deals with promotional, disruptive, offensive, and misleading usernames. Would you mind moving the report over to AIV?

Hi - I've added the flag for you. Please review WP:ROLLBACK if you haven't already so you are clear on when (and more importantly when not!) to use the tool. Please feel free to ask me if you need any help. Thanks for your hard work on Wikipedia. Pedro :  Chat  13:11, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for pointing out the delivery of the newsletter to the wrong editor. I strived so hard after the delivery of the last newsletter to make sure that these mistakes did not happen again, but I guess editor names change, people leave, and people get banned.

Thank you for your wonderful dilegence in catching this mistake. I am updating the list of editors now. Ikip

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
