Rulesets[edit]

First and foremost we need to decide on a set of rules, otherwise we can't really continue with the project. A poll has been suggested.

Please sign your name under your preferred rules. You may !vote for only one set of rules (you may change your !vote if you wish). You may propose a new set of rules by creating a new subpage (titled Wikipedia talk:Trading card game/Rules proposal NUMBER HERE) and listing it here. As a general rule, you should not vote your own proposal; let others share their opinion about it.

Right now, a closing date for the poll hasn't been set; this was tried before but there weren't enough !votes to establish consensus. If sufficient participation is met, a closing date would be set. Then again, this poll is more of a guide: discussion (and thus consensus) may drift towards one set of rules or another; perhaps elements from various rulesets could be incorporated into the base set.

Individual rules/ideas/concepts[edit]

Given that several users have proposed, at the project's talk page, several ideas for the game that have not been integrated into a ruleset but instead remain as standalone rules, another poll, simultaneous to the rulesets one, has been started. You may show your support or oppose for a particular idea/rule by signing your name under the appropriate section. You may support/oppose as many rules as you wish. You may change your !vote(s). As in the ruleset poll, you should not support-!vote your own idea; let others share their opinion about it.

The purpose of this poll is to reach consensus on particular, individual ideas that have been suggested (so that they don't go unnoticed). The ruleset(s) with more support from the poll above, which would be used as base, would have to later incorporate/give significant consideration to the individual concepts that have met community approval in this poll.

If you have thought of a gameplay idea but have not developed an entire set of rules out of it, you may list your idea here for consideration. Additionally, ideas mentioned at the talk page but not formally proposed will be probably moved here.
