This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jascha Lieberman Trio, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.myspace.com/jaschaliebermantrio#!.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Second infobox in Internet Explorer article?

Hi.

I wanted to talk to you about Internet Explorer article. I don't understand why you added a second infobox. You see, whatever is in that second infobox was in the first infobox too, except the external links, which also can be added. (But I felt they belonged to External links section; although we can talk about it.) So, did you have anything specific in mind, or was it because you though every article about a Windows component should have that infobox? If the latter is true, don't worry, my friend. I assure you, the first thing that you can safely throw out of the window in Wikipedia are arbitrary rules with no purpose.

And on a side note, your URL was not okay. It had an unnecessary "http://www.". Please see MOS:COMPUTING about that.

Best regards,
Codename Lisa (talk) 18:00, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello,
I've added a second infobox, because it contains necessary informations. It's not just a browser, it's a integral component of MS Windows and I think section 'Related components' and 'A component of Microsoft Windows' header are important, but it's just my opinion. Info about logo history isn't real, so I've removed it. Of course, no every article about Windows should have this infobox, but IE is very important for Windows as a its component. Towards the URL, I agree with you, sorry. --Rezonansowy (talk) 18:15, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
Related components can be added to the first infobox. (Still, check WP:SEEALSO about them.) The text "A component of Microsoft Windows" can also be added to the first infobox but it is wrong because this article covers all versions, including those that were components of Mac OS, and Linux versions which were not "components" at all. But about the caption, okay, you can remove it again. (I thought it was deleted by accident.) Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 20:24, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Windows Odyssey logo and wordmark.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Windows Odyssey logo and wordmark.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 18:39, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Troublesome edits in File name space

Hello, Rezonansowy

I am writing in reference to widespread problem several of your edits in File namespace. ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8]) Please do not do any of these:

  • Deleting image description page in part or whole: It does not matter how wrong do you think they are; don't delete! You can fix, if you wish.
  • Marking PNG files with {{NowCommons}} when a SVG format is available on Commons. This tag applies on to replicas.
  • Abusing "minor" flag: "Minor" flag is only for negligible edits.

In fact, I don't even know why you bothered doing all this; simply by uploading the SVG version to Commons, the PNG version on Wikipedia would have been automatically deleted.

Best regards,
Codename Lisa (talk) 00:18, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

OK, thank you for information, that was really helpful for me.
Regards, --Rezonansowy (talk) 00:36, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
Hi. One minor correction: I should have said: Simply by uploading the SVG version to Commons and using the SVG in an article, the PNG version on Wikipedia would have been automatically deleted.
Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 01:21, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
Hello. You are abusing the "Minor" flag again. Your edits marked as "minor" are not minor at all. Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 18:17, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 15

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited WikiLeaks, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Disclosure (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Do you want to have an edit war?

Or do you want to talk about this on the talk page, where it belongs? Serendipodous 18:06, 27 July 2013 (UTC)

Did you start this? I think it is repugnant. The Template:Start date and age shows the time ago in a dynamic form. First it shows the days ago, then the months and then the years. The Template:Start date and years ago can only show how many years something happened ago. So in my conclusion it would be better to drop Template:Start date and years ago and only use Template:Start date and age from now on. --Txt.file (talk) 08:00, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Tor Mail screenshot.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Tor Mail screenshot.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 05:31, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

Are you planning on writing any of these articles, or is it just going to be a page of red links? ... discospinster talk 15:37, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

I don't want it to be a blank, red-linked page, but your solution isn’t too good. --Rezonansowy (talk) 15:43, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
What's wrong with my solution? ... discospinster talk 18:32, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
You've moved all working links to Tor (anonymity network)#Hidden services, but hidden services websites are not related to Tor itself, it's just a software. I've removed URLs from not working links and I think, it should be a better solution for now. Please tell me if you agree with it.--Rezonansowy (talk) 19:37, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
That's fine. Sorry for not responding earlier. ... discospinster talk 22:51, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Lukasz Pawlikowski at Muzyka Zaklęta w Drewnie festival.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Lukasz Pawlikowski at Muzyka Zaklęta w Drewnie festival.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 23:36, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

When you made this edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=LilyPond&oldid=562834741 , changing the name of GNU Lilypond also changed the infobox and got rid of the templates showing the latest stable and development releases. Edit warring in Microsoft Word

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

P.S. I studied your edit summary. It does not justify your edit. It is a link that says how to add border. User:Jasper Deng's objection is still unanswered. Fleet Command (talk) 13:14, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

  1. This was the objection of User:Codename Lisa, not User:Jasper Deng.
  2. Please read carefully. The "border" option adds a one-pixel border, which can be useful when it is important to distinguish image from background.
  3. You hardly exaggerating with calling me uncivil edit warrior. Except that you bite, you insult me. Same like User:Dogmaticeclectic, calling him a pig.
  4. Besides this - Does your userpage doesn't tell you're a retired user? And you tell me on your talkpage that if you post a message here, I guarantee neither reading it nor taking action on it. Are you kidding? You cannot do it!
  5. If you're looking for someone who makes something like an edit war, go to Wikipedia article and see User:TakuyaMurata's edit summary.
--Rezonansowy (talk • contribs) 14:19, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
Hi. Notification reported my name being used here. So, you counter-reverted my edit a second time without dropping me a note? I always thought you are good guy...
Actually, I knew about that sentence. And it is not as important in this case to make the image stand out from the background, in comparison to the importance of not misrepresenting the image. With a border, the image would look a non-maximized app. But I'd never edit war over a border...
Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 14:31, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
Hi Lisa, your Notification gadget should work properly and inform you about this revert. I always try to be OK with all users. If I did something wrong then please, tell me and explain it. I hope I'm not a bad guy now. Towards our image, I think the border is necessary here. Borders are in thumbs as well. IMO, it is important to distinguish image from background in this case, like in the rule. I saw similar case in many other articles, that's why I did this edit. But maybe I'm wrong (man learns throughout life) - so we can talk about it, of course if you want. Please tell if you agree with my opinion. --Rezonansowy (talk • contribs) 14:57, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
Hi. I received both notifications at the same time. If you want to be a treated like a good guy, there is one golden rule: Comment on the contents only, never on contributors. In other words, out of the five entries in your list, only one should be there; the one you explained about the reason behind your edit.
That said, I don't care about the border anymore. We should not have been where were are right now. A border is too little and unimportant an edit to have an allegation of edit war on our hands. Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 14:33, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
And everything I said falls on deaf ears: [9] I told you not to comment on the contributor, yet you do exactly that plus some canvassing? What Fleet Command and Dogmatic both had a round of personal attack that administrators User:Bbb23 and User:Drmies attended.
The most important thing is that you were attacked by neither. You broke WP:BRD and Fleet Command sent you an edit warring notice; what he did was not wrong. But what you did is a malicious retaliation. ...And I thought you are a good person. Shame. Disappointed, Codename Lisa (talk) 15:45, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
Rezonansowy, pouring oil on a smoldering fire is never a good idea. All that nonsense happened days and weeks ago; leave it be. And Lisa is correct: a 3R warning is not usually a personal attack. Drmies (talk) 16:08, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
