Edit summaries

Thank you for your interest in my non-use of the edit summary. Such a device is largely useless as most people who are genuinely interested in the edits will simply switch to the history view and get a clear summary of what was done. I consider the use of the edit summary to be a courtesy that I no longer owe people on Wikipedia. Please don't waste my time in the future. Zedshort (talk) 19:25, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

MfD nomination of Portal:Deep Web

Portal:Deep Web, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Portal:Deep Web and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Portal:Deep Web during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. DexDor (talk) 18:46, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

As requested, I have moved this into your userspace at User:Rezonansowy/Deep Web Portal. JohnCD (talk) 12:52, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

@JohnCD: Hi, Please also move all subpages of this. BTW why you removed {{hidden title}}? --RezonansowyakaRezy (talk | contribs) 19:17, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
Sorry about that. I have moved it back, temporarily, so that I can re-move bringing the subpages with it. I planned to move it to User:Rezonansowy/Deep Web, but there is something there already, which looks like a version of the same thing. Are you happy for me to overwrite that, or would you like to give me another name to move it to? I removed "hidden title" because it confused me and I wanted to be sure the page had come to the right place; by all means put it back, of course. JohnCD (talk) 20:27, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Discontinued?

Hi.

"Discontinued" means "no longer developed" as in "will have no newer versions". But Windows XP does have newer versions: Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. Windows XP is not supported but it is continued.

I've seen Microsoft using "discontinued" wrongly once or twice but Microsoft is famous for using bad grammar, bad collocation, and its own versions of jargon. (e.g. not using "the" before "Mail app", incorrect use of x86 and x64 and the famous system partition and boot partition example.)

Best regards,

Were you planning on coming back and finishing work on this article? I see that it was previously deleted and that you had asked for userfication on this. If you could address it, that would be great. Hasteur (talk) 01:39, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

@Hasteur: Thanks for a reminder! Yes, I'm planning to finish this. I'll also invite some editors from Portal:Computer programming. --RezonansowyakaRezy (talk | contribs) 11:57, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
@Hasteur: I made a bunch of changes on this. Could you have your say on draft's talk about the draft's state now? Thanks! --RezonansowyakaRezy (talk | contribs) 14:56, 23 March 2016 (UTC)

User script request

Would it be possible to create a user script that automated the process of closing Requested moves discussions. Also, a script for accepting/declining WP:Articles for creation/Redirects requests? Thank you. Music1201 talk 23:29, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

@Music1201: Sure, I'll try to take care of this for some time. If you have less time you can post your idea right now on the Wikipedia User scripts program. Cheers! --RezonansowyakaRezy (talk | contribs) 12:46, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
Several AfC Redirects scripts have been made but now the challenge is making a requested moves script. Music1201 talk 20:59, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
