Warning[edit]

The use of the images in the Muhammed article has been discussed extensively, and it has been decided they will stay. Do not remove them again, or I will block you. Raul654 (talk) 20:24, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Muhammad images[edit]

Please don't remove images from this article. See the box at the top of the page Talk:Muhammad for further explanation. NawlinWiki (talk) 20:24, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Since you choose to ignore my warning, I have blocked you for again removing the images. Raul654 (talk) 20:25, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tariqabjotu suggested that it was possible you didn't see my warning, so I've shortened the block to time served. However, if you remove any more images from the Mohammad article, I will restore the full week. Raul654 (talk) 23:10, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Calcutta-tollygunge1-full.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Image copyright problem with Image:Ajc bose road flyover.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Ajc bose road flyover.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:56, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Calcutta-tollygunge1-full.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Calcutta-tollygunge1-full.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:35, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

March 2008[edit]

Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Muhammad, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you. --DachannienTalkContrib 16:39, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kozhikode[edit]

Hello, I have reverted your last changes because the ref.(by hinduonnet) actually mentions Dawoodi Bohras. Also I have lived in Kozhikode and I know that they exist there :-)

Greetings Suigeneris (talk) 20:47, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never thought about your point - AFAIK, Dawoodi Bohras have their own mosque in Kozhikode and normally don't attend services in Sunni mosques. I consider Bohras as Muslims only, but my intention was to stress that there is considerable diversity among Muslims living in Calicut and not all of them are Mappila. Suigeneris (talk) 22:14, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
To add futher, I wrote "Kozhikode is a multireligious and multiethnic.." - isolating Gujarati Hindus and Dawoodi Bohras respectively from their Malayalee Hindu and Muslim brethren was to point out the multiethnic part of the sentence(not multireligious) Suigeneris (talk) 22:31, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated College of Technology London, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/College of Technology London. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Grim23 23:08, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

April 2010[edit]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to List of countries by Muslim population. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — Kralizec! (talk) 12:54, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Islam in India, you will be blocked from editing. Angelo De La Paz (talk) 15:07, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
