Apeiron is decribed as an EP in your article, while the record company describe it as an Альбом. Which is it? If the band have been covered in a magazine article in Dark City Magazine, please cite this in your article. Sionk (talk) 23:21, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I note that the 'article' you have added is actually a sales page - there is the price in roubles and a 'shopping cart'. That is not really a reliable source, because the website wants to promote the album so they can sell it. IMO Wikipedia's 'notability' requirement may be met if Apeiron is classified as a 7-track album (though like you say, 7 tracks is quite short for an album). Sorry, I didn't know how to talk on my own page because I am new to Wikipedia. Thank you for the corrections. As for the article, I am not sure of how to cite that one to be honest. I mean, there is a scan available for the article online, as well as the magazine cover which shows WelicoRuss as being featured. And the magazine has a website. How so I go about citing it then? Also, I will edit the article to list Apeiron as an album, since that is how it is listed on the label page.

If you have found suitable news coverage, cite it in a similar way to the other references in your article. Sionk (talk) 17:35, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said, they've been featured in a popular magazine, but the only thing I can think of as far as citations for that go is link to the place you'd by the magazine at. But you said that wasn't good enough. Or I could link to the scanned-in version of the article. Which should I do? Basically, how do I cite a physical publication on Wikipedia? Just tell me what I need to do to cite it and it's as good as done. All I want is to have this finished and published. S3NT13NT_GL1TCH (talk) 21:47, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't had any personal involvement in the article, beyond removing it from categories that an incomplete AFC submission shouldn't have been in, so there's not really that much I can tell you. But as far as the magazine article goes, there's no requirement on Wikipedia that our sources be weblinked; any reliable source is acceptable whether it's been published on the web or not. So all you really need to do is cite the magazine article in a text-only format (e.g. <ref>"This is the article title". ''Publication Magazine'', January 1, 2012.</ref>) — as long as it's a reasonably major magazine that counts as a valid source, that's a perfectly acceptable reference whether there's a weblink present or not.
But it's also true that most of the references that are already in the article are weak sources; blogs and YouTube videos are never appropriate, and the band's own webpage is okay for factual confirmation after notability has been demonstrated by the inclusion of real sources, but is not a valid source on its own. Hope that helps a bit. Bearcat (talk) 22:33, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I've revised the citation for the magazine article as you've suggested. But for a lot of this information, no other sources exist except for their webpage, their label's webpage, and the numerous interviews they've done online. Because of the type of music they play and the way music scene is in Russia they don't get a ton of media coverage despite the fact that they are the second biggest Metal band in that region, the first being Arkona. And as far as I can tell, many other Wiki pages for Metal bands include similar sources. Again, I've met two of the requirements for notability for the article, and only one is actually required for publishing. I can't find any reason why my submission isn't accepted yet. In addition, I am having a really hard time with the stupid "talk"/"talkback" system on Wikipedia. Grrr. S3NT13NT_GL1TCH (talk) 22:55, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
