I've seen you've edited the BD Army's Para brigades page which I'm contributing and giving the infos from many source.I am a member of that soecial force bde.So who can be more informative about it?So don't make any unnecessary works in it. Thanks. Cdo2017 (talk) 15:36, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Reply MR. Cdo2017, you are claiming of " giving the infos from many source", where the fact is you failed to add a single source to support your claims in the article. You may be anybody but unless you have a reputed source to support your claims, I suggest you to abstain from editing Wikipedia. Because all the articles in Wikipedia must follow the WP:VERIFY principle. SRS 00 t@lk, 10:06, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Actually all the details given about the tnak on this page is similar to Mk2 upgrade package. So the tnaks have been Uprgred. So its not worng to call this mk2 maybe u should do a little bit more research.Cuz the armaments and other Upragaded Features have been updated on this page except the name so i just updated the name Mehedi099 (talk) 13:03, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Dibosh Chakma, your references do not follow Wikipedia standard. SRS 00 t@lk, 07:32, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You are not the one to deside that. You are acting like a Pakistani razakar. Dibosh Chakma (talk) 07:34, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dibosh Chakma Aaah, Back to the name calling again. What you write in wiki and what your references say are totally different. Stop adding false references. SRS 00 t@lk, 07:36, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

False reference??? Which one did you find false??? Just because you can't find any information about Bangladesh army equipment, It doesn't mean that everyone can't find any information. Dibosh Chakma (talk) 07:39, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dibosh Chakma None of your reference mentions the name or number of the equipment you added. Besides, wiki does not allow self-published media or blogs as references. SRS 00 t@lk, 08:11, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I know very well about what I am doing and the references that I presented are completely true. So just keep your filthy mouth out of here... Dibosh Chakma (talk) 08:13, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Thank you for very appropriate reversion on Bangladesh Navy page. Checking the source myself even I saw that it said only "more than 80" which means it needs better reference as you said. Thank you. MPS1992 (talk) 20:01, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello BeautifulBD, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Bangladesh Navy has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. MPS1992 (talk) 16:50, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Gudir Nas (talk) 02:45, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reply MR. Gudir Nas

Wikipedia:Verifiability

Reply MR. বাংলার প্রেম Stop using Bangla or any other language in english wikipedia.

The advertisement you are talking about indeed carries the line But that doesnot mean that 195400 males and 2600 females will be enrolled in Army. That means that these people will be allowed to participate in the exam for enrolling. So, there is no relation between actual strength of army and that number.

You said that MP or Minister does not know the number of people serving army. This is totally laughable comment. The minister who commented the number is the minister responsible for defence affairs in parliament. So do not think that you know better than him. Again, these MPs pass all the bills including defence services salary bill. Don't think that they pass the salary without knowing the total strength. And when any MP or minister speaks something in parliament that is the official statement of the Government of Bangladesh and that is the most trusted source.

Contents in Wikipedia are always under Verifiability. Adding any information without credible reference is not supported here. Wikipedia contains what is true, not what you think is true.

Improper article move[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Bogra District a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.

Additionally, we need a reliable source documenting the name change. We can't just go on vague claims that the government has renamed it. —C.Fred (talk) 13:45, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hey C.Fred, I tried to move the page Bogra District but the page Bogura District was already there. So, I had to take that approach. SRS 00 t@lk, 16:59, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That's the wrong approach; that's why you should've gone through WP:RM and requested a move, rather than make a mess of the article history. —C.Fred (talk) 22:04, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
With the sources, I'm convinced that the move is not controversial, so I've ended the move discussion early and moved the page. —C.Fred (talk) 22:13, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. SRS 00 t@lk, 11:03, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Moving pages with the name change[edit]

Please refrain from moving pages with the name change from Chittagong to Chattogram. Keep in mind that the company names stay the same unless they are changed. As far as I can see the official company websites still have the Chittagong. Similarly refrain from moving pages with historical connections to the new name. Here [[[WP:NAME]] applies and the name commonly used/referred to which is the old name should be used. Feel free to change the name where is used for official purposes, for example the city or the division. If you are unsure on a page then start a discussion. Thanks. Your draft article, Draft:CGS Shamol Bangla[edit]

Hello, SRS 00. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "CGS Shamol Bangla".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 23:22, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Type 053H3 frigates of the Bangladesh Navy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Message[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Refrain from making these types of edits. Aman Kumar Goel(Talk) 05:12, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

March 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Bengalpatriot71. I noticed that you recently removed golden colored star-plate image from Bangladesh Navy.Well I am confused about the star-plates of Bangladesh Navy officers. In most of the cases I have seen Bangladesh Navy officers wear golden colored star plates. But you are preferring to use blue colored star-plates. I have seen the image of current CNS Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury on Bangladesh Navy's official website. Please follow the link. It is clearly seen in the image that the Admiral is wearing golden colored star plates. If you think I made a wrong, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I just need the answer of my confusion. And please exonerate me if you think I have used any hash words.Bengalpatriot71 (talk) 09:10, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Bengalpatriot71, thank you for bringing the issue to discussion. The stars we see in the collar region of any officer's dress is not the star plate. Star plate is a plate placed in front of a staff car in place of/above the license plate. You can check any Bangladesh Navy staff car where you will find the blue colored plate placed in front area. Thanks, I have been mixing gorget patches and star-plates.Bengalpatriot71 (talk) 09:27, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rapid Action Battalion, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rangpur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 14:35, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe I missed that and I am no expert in this matter. A friendly advice for you- try to use space after every punctuation mark. And try to find reference for your edits so that no one can revert them in future. SRS 00 t@lk, 09:03, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

CGS Joy Bangla moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, CGS Joy Bangla, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. September 2021[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at BNS Ali Haider (2014) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
