Camera

Hi Sanfy, what camera do you use to upload your photographs to Wikipedia? =Nichalp «Talk»= 19:16, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the information. But that's a mobile camera. The photos listed here: User:Sanfy/Image contributions looks like you had clicked it from a digital camera. Could you please confirm if that's the case? =Nichalp «Talk»= 07:35, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
I have reason to believe that the images you have listed on User:Sanfy/Image contributions have not been clicked by the two cameras you mentioned. In addition, Image:Milagres church, Mangalore.jpg where you mention that the photograph is clicked by you is a copy taken from The Hindu While it is plausible that they might have used your image, there is a very significant level of photo editing done to this image; this can only be done by a professional. If you are the author, you should be able to tell me the what corrections have been done to the image.
You also mention that you have taken the images off Google. Do you have permission from the copyright holders to do so? If not, I will have to delete them immediately.
Please let me know. =Nichalp «Talk»= 09:02, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Sanfy, I have deleted eight images from your contributions. I'll give you a week to clear the copyright status of the remaining images, else, I will be forced to delete those two. I've noticed many cases where you CLAIM to be the author. This is UNETHICAL. Please do not take credit for other people's work.
  1. Please put the date the photograph was taken, not the date of the upload.
  2. Please upload the original image taken, at highest resolution, not cropped or edited images.

You cannot lift images off the internet and upload it to Wikipedia. That is intellectual theft. You must get permission from them to release it under a free licence. By free I mean:

  1. Free for any person to make commercial use of your image
  2. Free for any person to make derivative use of your image (such as part of a collage)

SUBJECT to conditions:

  1. Attribution (credit the author of the image)
  2. Share-alike (optional) User can only release the derivative work under the exact same licence that the original author has chosen.

You have not established this freedom in any of your images. If you need any clarifications please ask me. =Nichalp «Talk»= 10:45, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, typo =Nichalp «Talk»=

GA rating

You must have found that elevating any article to GA status is very difficult. Well, the History section needs to be build up. Mention whether where there any Christians in Goa before the 15th century.

  • Roman Catholic missions in Goa played an important role in education, health, and social welfare and built the Xavier Centre of Historical Research, Thomas Stephens Konknni Kendr (TSKK), and other institutions and churches
    • Which mission was this?

Please expand. KensplanetTalkContributions 06:07, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

No I am not because I have no subject knowledge of the topic. Building the History section will take time and is not gonna be so easy. I may not be able to devote enough time. KensplanetTalkContributions 11:57, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Images

Sorry to inform you User:Sanfy but the website where I get images from only has images of Indian celebrities [people who are involved in Bollywood film-making], such as actors, directors, producers and etc. Therefore, it will be impossible for me to find images of those people you specified. Sorry for not being much help to you :(( Regards -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 19:22, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Goa Gazeeteer

Sanfy. I am right now very very busy working on November 2008 Mumbai attacks as my city is under attack by terrorists. I don't think I'll able to help you for a few days from now. KensplanetTalkContributions 08:11, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Sanfy, my freind, it's not my article. No one owns any article on Wikipedia. See WP:OWN. Thousands and thousands of people across the world are contributing to the article as per the Revision history. In a way, they are offering their condolences to the deceased. Well as you say you are a Bombayite, this is the right time to show your passion towards Bombay. Please contribute towards the article. You can't go and kill the terrorists but you can tell the world about the attacks through the Wikipedia platform. Pen is mightier than the sword. KensplanetTalkContributions 09:15, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Hello Sanfy. Well, your intentions are noble. But what you are putting in the article are just statements or unconfirmed reports. Unless it is published on the Net, they may not be reliable. Hence, it is recommended you put only confirmed reports. The reason being this article is read by millions of people across the world. Adding unconfirmed reports may mean compromise on quality of the artice. Editors may remove it any moment. KensplanetTalkContributions 10:33, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Please stop your nonsense

How can you add no permission tags to the Richard Crasta Images. I have the full permission to use the Images from Richard Crasta. I have the mail with me and have even forwarded it to the OTRS server. Just give me your e-mail ID, I'll forward it. I have waited for months for the permission. Did you even bother to notify the uploader? The Images could have been deleted with the tags. Very very immature action, my freind. KensplanetTalkContributions 15:07, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

No need. I have mailed it to the OTRS server. The OTRS professionals will review it. Disclosing personal details anyway is not recommended here. Please take care and do not ever forget to notify the uploader KensplanetTalkContributions 15:30, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi Sanfy

Your article looks wonderful! I'm a little busy at the moment, and probably will be for some time. I'm very sorry, but you'll have to try to find someone else to help you with the copy edit this time. Alastair Haines (talk) 11:43, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Reliability

Hello Sanfy. You had asked me about the reliability of sources. All the 4 sources are unreliable and should not be used on Wikipedia. Detailed explanation sometime later. KensplanetTalkContributions 16:37, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Goanet
  • Goanet is a mailing list related to the state of Goa, located on the western coast of India. It was started in 1994 by a (then) 17-year-old student Herman Carneiro, and since then has grown into being the most influential electronic mailing list linked to Goa.
  • The site has just been started by a student who was an expert in web-designing perhaps. On their site, they publish all the articles which people mail them. So even you can mail them one, and get it published there. The contents are not reviewed by professionals or experts. So, it is not reliable. KensplanetTalkContributions 12:05, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
    • As much as Wikipedia "is not reliable" because "the contents are not reviewed by professionals or experts". Let me say this, I've been a journalist for the bulk of my life (approx 25 years), and a volunteer with Goanet for 14 out of its almost 15 years of experience. A number of articles, particularly on the Goanet Reader series which I personally edit, would go through similar (if not more careful) editing and review processes that any Goa-related mainstream newspaper does. Besides, since there are some thousand readers for Goanet, each posting goes through an informal but strong and effective peer-review based system. Informal but workable. Of course, like with anything on the Net, you have careful with what you pick and choose! --fredericknoronha (talk) 10:11, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
  • Goa.com
    • This looks like a gaming site.

GOA.COM: Copyright © 2008 FRANCE TELECOM SA, all rights reserved. GOA and the GOA logo are trademarks of France Telecom.

Such sites are started by private firms. In this case, it's FRANCE TELECOM SA. Even tomorrow your organization can start sites like goafun.com etc...The contents which you see there are copied from sites like Wikipedia, etc...Data may be inaccurate...Since it has not been checked by an expert. Hence, it is competely unreliable. KensplanetTalkContributions 12:10, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

  • goa-world.com
    • Check http://www.goa-world.com/goa/index.html
      • This page is maintained by Ulysses Menezes. It is a non-commercial and a non-profit oriented website. The purpose of this page is for general information and coverage for Goa and Goan related issues. While every effort is made, the owner is not responsible for any changes or inaccuracies. The information and input has been collected from various sources and have been duly given the Credits.
        • For this site to be reliable, Ulysses Menezes has to be an expert. Has Menezes written some books on Goa? How is he an expert. Only in the rarest of rare cases, News, Magazines can be used from this site. Otherwise, it should be avoided. KensplanetTalkContributions 12:20, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
  • Mangalorean.Com
    • This site was designed by Roshan D'Souza. He may be a web designer. Even you and me can create such sites. Their contents are not reviewed by experts. Hence, they are not reliable. Again, Only in the rarest of rare cases, News can be used from this site. KensplanetTalkContributions 12:27, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Re: Goa Gazeeteer

Sorry, the Goa Gazeeteer is not available online. If it is present, it has to be here http://goagovt.nic.in/gazette.htm . I can't find it there. Even http://books.google.com/books?q=Goa+Gazetteer&spell=1&oi=spell doesn't return any results. So that's for sure the Government has not made it available for public use. Anyway, not all Gazeeteers are available online. Only few states. KensplanetTalkContributions 12:33, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Try searching on Google Books. You will get it. I don't know any such book. But be careful you do not put statistics of Goan Christians. That's inaccurate. Please do not use too. many Limited preview Google Books for the research especially History. That will be considered unreliable by reviewers later on. Good luck !!!! KensplanetTalkContributions 12:55, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Thankyou

Thankyou for the Barnstar, Sanfy... Perhaps Deepak D'Souza is angry at you. Remember you had vandalized the Mangalorean Catholics page. You were also blocked for that. Initially Even I was angry at you. How can anyone vandalize a page. We take months and years to construct pages. Any someone just for fun or just for some personal fights comes and makes disruptive edits. Anyway tell me why did you vandalize the page :) KensplanetTalkContributions 13:38, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

I would have loved to help you with the article. But the problem is the data itself is inaccurate. I'll point out some mistakes.
  • In The Infobox, the number 500,000 is not the number of Goan Catholics. As per , they include the Catholics form Goa, Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Diu. I'm sure Catholics from Daman, Diu cannot be called Goan Catholics.
  • The Roman Catholics from the Southern Konkan region, and their descendents are generally known as Goan Catholics.
    • From where did you take this definition. The Konkan region extends from Raigad to Mangalore. So by mentioning Southern Konkan, you also include Mangalore, which is absolutely incorrect. You know that.

This is the reason why people may not be interested in helping. Inaccuracy. KensplanetTalkContributions 13:54, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Acccording to Alfonso de Albuquerque in a letter to D.Manuel I, he had found at the excavations carried out at Fort Banastariam, several crosses with an altarpiece withan engraved picture of Christ, which indicated that Christianity prevailed in Goa before the Portugese arrived.
Again it's not my page (WP:OWN). Tell me freind how many people have you helped here on Wikipedia. If you have not helped anyone, how can you expect others to help you. KensplanetTalkContributions 16:43, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

That's not fair use

I have recently learnt from Wikiexperts that book covers do not satisfy fair use for the article. So please do not use book covers. User:Redtigerxyz has removed the book cover from the article. That's right. KensplanetTalkContributions 15:51, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

see Talk:Goan_Catholics#Image:A_Description_in_Konkani.jpg_fair_use. The book cover can not be used. --Redtigerxyz Talk 02:36, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:A Description in Konkani.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:A Description in Konkani.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Organization

O brother...the Organization section is not meant for Organizations established by Goans. That way Goans have established millions of organizations across the world. Konkani Akademi (GKA) , TSKK all work for development of Konkani language, not for Goan Catholics specifically. The Organizations is meant for those institutions which specifically, solely, and only work for development of Goan Catholics; organize Cultural events etc...KensplanetTalkContributions 09:37, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Secondly, Goenkaranchi Ekvot, Karnataka Goan Organization and all such organizations work for the general Goan diaspora (including Goan Hindus). You have to only and only mention organizations which cater to Goan Catholics alone (Mark it)..not even Goan Hindus. It's out of scope. Perhaps you can mention these in the Goans article; not here. No mention of Konkani organizations, Goan organizations etc...Only specifically Goan Catholic. I hope you got it. KensplanetTalkContributions 09:43, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Your comments about me

Hi Sanfy, Regarding this comment you have made about me on Kenplanet's talk page, you are wondering why I havent taken the "pain" to help you . Let me tell you why: it is because you have been a "pain" yourself. I dont need to elaborate why, you know the reason. No need to be sarcastic by reffering to me as your dear friend. I do not consider you to be my friend , because you have refused to take any sane advice seriously and vandalised an article as if it didnt matter. Remeber you vandalised the article AFTER we let you off the first time with a warning. I dont think anyone wants to collaborate with a user user who is stupid enough to think that by vandalising the article dear to any editor he can encourage others to collaborate with them[1]. They say "Fools learn from their experience, wise men learn from the experience of fools" I dont know what they say about peopel who refuse to learn at all :-). --Deepak D'Souza 11:40, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

GA

Hello Sanfy. I dunno why you think the History is not complete. You have mentioned everything - right from the ancient times to Modern era. If you are very much interested, I suggest you to read books....I don't have any books. I have zero knowledge of the History.

However there are lots and lots of inaccuracies. Ethnic identity about assimilation into Konkani stock is complete nonsense..your own research. Costumes is a complete disaster. Please do not copy this way. That's not true. Too..much emphasis on Migration to Mangalore. Around 30% of the History section....That speaks more about some other community. Organizations should never be about Football organizations etc.....KensplanetTalkContributions 08:18, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

14...too young. O that's why you vandalized the article. Because if you were a bit older, you wouldn't have done that. On Wikipedia, we still have people aged 15 who are Administrators, Sysops, etc..No one pays me for writing articles..How does the Mangalorean Catholics come into picture? Comparing two articles itself is considered very immature. In that case, please read the Greeks article. Do you think our articles are anywhere near to that. Actually these days, I'm not expanding or working on any article. I am only discussiong, DYKing, fighting vandalism these days.....I'll just help in improving the article now KensplanetTalkContributions 09:07, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Yes I m willing to help you. On 1 condition. If you check out List of Governors of Bombay, you see a lot of red links. You must create all the articles. Only then can I find time for the GC article. I dunno what made you feel elevating articles to Featured article (FA) status is a Joke. Do you even have any idea what is a FA. FA's are considered to be the best and the most professional articles on Wikipedia. When high quality articles like Jesus, Roman Catholic Church, Greeks, Egyptians, etc. don't pass FAC's, forget Goan Catholics will pass FA. I have featured only 1 article tll date and that is Mangalore which took me nearly a year.

These days I have increased my Bandwidth and would like to edit more and more article. So please do not tie me up with GA's, FA's. It's a humble request from my side, please do not flood my talk pages with requests for help, review, expansion of Goan Catholics etc....Answer will be a simple and straightforward No. I don't find anything interesting and special in the Goan Catholics article considering you are the only sole contributor of the article. I hardly am involved in things which I'm utterly not interested in. I tell you this in advance so that you may not be disappointed later on and hope for help from me. Please acknowledge. KensplanetTC 16:23, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Yes, Maybe you are right. Maybe because I m of MCdescent, so it is possible that Mangalore related articles fall within my interest domain. There's a complicated chemistry involved with Interest which we can't discuss. Anyway MC is still not a GA. If I was of GCdesent, I would have tried elevating GC to FA status, but remember I'm not of GCdescent. It's not you alone, but even I accept that there's nothing special and interesting about the MC article. That's the reason, I do not invite people to review and expand the article but I do invite people to only copyedit the article. You are welcomed to elevate any article to FA status. But being crazy and desperate behind only the Goan Catholics article; that's surely not working in the spirit of Wikipedia. Remember one golden rule - If you do not help other people, no one will come to help you. If you just stick to GC without helping other articles, it's of no use then. KensplanetTC 17:36, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Actually I could have stopped collaborating with you the day you vandalized the Mangalorean Catholics page. Vandalism is considered to be the worst and the most serious offence anyone can commit on Wikipedia. Your offence assumes more weightage considering you had been warned before and you used your IP's to vandalize the page. But I gave you a chance. I feel how wrong I was. I would have never collaborated with you if I knew you had such a silly mentality. I think how Deepak D'Souza was?

Your Article on Goan Catholics in German Wikipedia

Hello, I am user Minderbinder from the German Wikipedia. You created the article de:Goa Katholiken earlier today. I marked it up for failing our basic criteria for article quality (de:WP:WSIGA), but asked for more time for completion. Others felt differently, so it was removed as a speedy delete. I am assuming that you tried to translate Goan Catholics into German. That would be a worthwhile goal as the English article is pretty good, and we only have de:Erzbistum Goa und Daman on the subject. However, your comment here struck me as odd. Using machine traslation might be a time saver, but if you don't speak German at all, it is a hopeless way of creating an article within the German wikipedia. Please do not machine translate and then dump the content into de:WP. Instead, you might want to ask for help on our christianity portal here. Most everyone speaks English there. Good luck! --Minderbinder-de (talk) 16:42, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

You have been charged for vandalism of the Mangalorean Catholics article at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Mangalorean Catholics. KensplanetTC 16:01, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Please make sure to see my response in that thread. When you know something is controversial, discuss before you do it. See WP:DR for options available to you if you can't get people to discuss it. --barneca (talk) 18:50, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Replied on my talk. If you are telling me that information on the dialects spoken by the Goan Christians is not available online, then I think you need to refine your search. Proposed deletion of Fair and Lovely

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Fair and Lovely, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable product.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fair use rationale for File:Indian-express.gif

Thanks for uploading File:Indian-express.gif. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 13:57, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Recent Additions

Hi there. Regarding this edit, you can't just add new articles to this page I'm afraid. It's an archive of articles which have appeared on the Did You Know section of the main page, so if you want it to appear you have to nominate it at T:TDYK. However, at the moment the article is only one sentence long; to be selected for DYK it would have to be quite a lot longer (at least 1500 characters). [2] and your RFPP request--people sometimes want their talk and user page locked on long breaks. Do you want me to do your user page and talk as well? Leave a note on my talk either way. rootology (C)(T) 15:45, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Breeds

Yesterday, you've created some articles about breeds. the references which you added is high school textbooks, those articles has very little context and it has no further information on scientific classificiation, stub articles should have atleast some information(nearly 5-6 lines), but yours doesn't provide any useful information for readers. please expand it, find some reliable sources. 59.96.42.56 (talk) 13:53, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi!

There are a few references in the above referred article, which are in Portugese language. Would you be able to guide me to rfence which can provide me an English translation of the same? Also, can you post some pictures of the Church of Our Lady of Springs located on the island and any others related to the Chapel? Thanks.--Nvvchar (talk) 08:54, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

Do you agree that article Mangalorean Catholics should be awarded with FA status?--Vojvodae please be free to write :) 12:09, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi Sanfi, Thanks for creating the article on the Padivals. However, while the Padivals are a caste and surname within the Mangalorean Catholic community, they are not an exclusively Mangalorean Catholic one. It is first and foremost, a Jain surname and most of the Padivals are still Jains. I think that should be reflected in the article. Joyson Konkani 07:22, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Ok, I'll do so.--Sanfy (talk) 12:40, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Siddis

Hi, my compliments for your work on Mangalorean Catholic related articles. The Siddis of Karnataka are a separate community and are not considered to be part of the Mangalorean Catholic community, especially the few Catholics among them. Siddis are native to Uttara Kannada, as opposed to Dakshina Kannada, to which the Mangalorean Catholics are native. They speak a unique language which is a mixture of Konkani and Marathi. If Pratap Naik claims that they are a Mangalorean Catholic caste, then that only serves to undermine his credibility as a researcher. Anyway, Goanet is not a reliable source, as anyone can post anything there. Furthermore, that page of Farias' book you have put forward as reference does not mention either the Siddis or the Randers. Therefore, it is clear that you have added a false and misleading reference, and i suggest that you refrain from doing so in the future. Such acts only weaken your otherwise impressive work on this issue. Joyson Konkani 17:10, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, but there's a misunderstanding check, plz check The Christian impact in South Kanara p. 11--Sanfy (talk) 17:21, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
I apologize for the unwarranted accusation. In my haste, i looked at the following two pages. It actually states the castes of the converted Christians of the Konkans and then goes on to mention that they neither associated or intermarried. However, it does not specifically mention whether it was for the Goans, Mangaloreans or Karwaris. The book is about the Christian impact in South Canara, even from those of other sects. The Siddis are probably lumped in there because they were converted into Roman Catholicism by the Portuguese. The Catholic Siddis are widely recognized to be part of the Canarite Siddi community and stating that they are part of the Mangalorean Ctaholic community goes against conventional knowledge. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Society of the Missionaries of St. Francis Xavier, Pilar, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.societyofpilar.org/Who_are_the_Pilar_Fathers.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 12:38, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi Sanfy, the section "Role" in the article contains a lot of info, which is unreferenced. As such, i request you to provide some more citations to the section. Joyson Konkani 10:29, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Mangalorean Catholics. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mangalorean Catholics. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Sanfy". The reason given for Sanfy's block is: "sockpuppet afd on Magalorean Catholics".

Decline reason: You have been blocked directly as stated in your block log. Since you have not provided a reason for being unblocked, your request has been declined. You may provide a reason for being unblocked by adding {{unblock | your reason here}} to the bottom of your talk page, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Again?

Really Sanfy, what were you thinking?? Or had a bit too much for the New Year? As much as I am pi$$ed at you, I am also having a good laugh at your stupidity. My first thought when I read the AfD notice was that it was you but I crushed the thought, thinking that you may have learnt a lesson; but well, it seems you have not. Well I guess I'll have to watch your edits a bit more closely. --Deepak D'Souza (talk) 18:20, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

What the hell is wrong with you, Sanfy? Did you actually think that you wouldn't get caught? Seriously, i thought that you would have learned by now. Wikipedia is no joke. You probably did it for the laughs, but then again, the joke got turned on you. Didn't it? Is it funny now? So, my advice to you is this. Either wise up or get the hell out of wikipedia. By what you did, you not only insulted the editors of the article, but also insulted all Mangalorean Catholics. I wan't you to know that from now on Deepak will not be the only one watching your edits. Joyson Konkani 19:32, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
Yes a CU block for sockpuppetry. Sanfy used a sock to Afd Mangalorean Catholics. I have that article on my watchlist and have watched Kensplanet working on it, so I wondered what was happening to justify an AfD YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 23:50, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
I know that I have done wrong by vandalizing articles but this time its not my fault. I have become victim to phishing. The reasons are 1. I do not log in in the Wikipedia:Secure server, 2. My Wikipedia:Password strength is just a 4 times recurring number. Please cross check. If I get permission by the admin. I would like to change my password. Please give me an evidence showing its my IP.--Sanfy (talk) 07:42, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
The ridiculous story about you being "a victim of phishing" and having a "weak password" only makes sense, had the Afd nomination been added from your account. However, the Afd nomination was added using an alternate account, which a user check has confirmed as having been created through your IP. So, stop with the pathetic excuses. All right! You have been nailed. Accept responsibility for your actions and apologize. Joyson Konkani 11:48, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Why do I get the feeling that you are editing using an IP. [3]. IF you are please stop it right now. Trying to circumvent a block by editing as anon is a violation of a block and will attract punishment. --Deepak D'Souza (talk) 07:31, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
The edits from the IP were made by me. They were done from a cyber cafe. Joyson Konkani 11:20, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure but since Sanfy had done that in his past block, I was tempted to think that it might be him. --Deepak D'Souza (talk) 12:15, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
Hey, it's all right. Your suspicions were justified. I should have foreseen that this could happen and signed in, instead of editing anon. Joyson Konkani 16:24, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:

I am not have not requested the deletion, since I was on Flickr, uploading [4],[5], [6] photos, my last edit was this. I am not a retard to spend my time contributing to M'lorean Catholics article only to nominate it for deletion. The chap Gmx45 (talk) is not me.

Decline reason:

2 week block has already expired - IP address and Username checked for blocks, none currently found. Contributions show editing as normal (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 17:47, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
