Rejected (for now)[edit]

I cleaned up your Draft:Fatima Bakery and Store -- because (i) you asked about it but didn't return, and (ii) reading the draft made me feel hungry -- and rashly submitted it for review. DGG, who's a fair judge, rejected the subject as non-notable.

Remember that "notability" for en:Wikipedia is only tenuously related to what the word means elsewhere. Simply, it's a measure of how much coverage there's been in reliable sources. Saying that Fatima Bakery and Store is not notable is no slight to the quality of its products (etc).

I confess that I didn't look for additional sources. I now notice that there's something from the (dubious) Times of India. If there were any in Kannada or Hindi, I wouldn't be able to read them. But even if a larger number of articles say little more than "The shop was there for so many years, but now it's had to move", this won't really be enough. Do you have, or can you get, anything else? (Yes, you may cite sources in Kannada, Hindi, or other languages.) -- Hoary (talk) 07:54, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thank you for helping me with this article, and sorry for not getting back to you earlier https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Hoary As I mentioned before I am new to Wikipedia so I kind of gave up on it. It is quite hard trying to find information but I will check Kannada or Hindi sources.

Good. And remember: Sources don't have to be online. You're free to cite magazine and newspaper articles, book chapters, etc. -- Hoary (talk) 12:08, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
