Founders Fund

I noticed that your addition of investments to the Founders Fund article was reverted as unsourced. I know it's hecka work but it's a fair request to find a citation for all of these investments to verify that there are no errors and to make it easier to source and edit the section going forward. Notability probably isn't the issue as all these are wikilinks to notable companies, really just WP:V. Hi Geoff, I reverted your removal of User:Scott_Illini's addition of "career politician" to the Max Baucus lede. I stumbled onto this issue because Illini reverted a similar addition that I had made to the article for Tom McClintock, with a comment identical to the one you made about Baucus. The fact that "career politician" has a negative connotation does not change the fact that Baucus and McClintock are both career politicians by any reasonable meaning of the phrase. That site states directly that it is made up of user contributed material. At the bottom you'll see this:

"Like all of the content in CrunchBase, Media Files can be uploaded and edited by anyone with an Internet connection and are not subject to monitoring by the CrunchBase staff.

This means that any of the material or media may very well not be the property of the contributor, but could be taken from anywhere and placed on the site. This means that the CC-BY license isn't backed by a sufficient copyright claim and isn't trustworthy. INeverCry 06:52, 14 April 2013 (UTC)

"By uploading data and media files to CrunchBase, you grant permission to CrunchBase and other sites to access under the conditions of Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) and that third parties will provide attribution by linking to CrunchBase. That doesn't address copyright. These uploaders and contributors may not have the right to release their contributions under a free license, considering that they may not be the actual copyright holders of the material. "You should not" doesn't mean people won't or don't contribute and upload material that is copyrighted by others without their knowledge or permission. I'm not going to restore the article. Yes, we have oversight, we can request citations, we can flag content, etc. You are actively pre-empting that oversight process. You are penalizing authors for having first authored content on CrunchBase, and declaring that content poisonous because it was first posted elsewhere. That makes no sense. If I first posted something on WikipediaPrime, and then migrated it here, you would delete it because WikipediaPrime lacks "oversight"? But if I first posted it here, that would be okay? Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Resource. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

Jews in the Hellenistic and Roman Cities

I don’t think I am miss reading Jews in the Hellenistic and Roman Cities. Maybe my wording was bad but here is what the source says. Both sources mention the census but only Jews in the Hellenistic and Roman Cities is clear about why.

Top of page 105 Bar-Hebraeus’ figure is a mangling of Eusebius’ report of a census of Roman citizens and does not refer to the number of Jews;

Bottom of page 106 and Lo Cascio now makes a strong case that Beloch was wrong about the Augustan census figures. This is an extremely fragile chain of argument. RFAR evidence

Hi, Scott. You probably noticed I reverted your edit at the Lightbreather case evidence page? There are strict rules for those pages, and you can't edit another person's section. I'm not a clerk, but I saw it so I spontaneously reverted it; if I hadn't, an arbitration clerk would have done it a little later. (And in fact I probably should have left it to the clerks.) Anyway, I'm sorry, because you obviously added evidence in good faith. Perhaps you thought you didn't have enough material to create your own section? That's what you have to do, though. The individual sections can be small, that's not a problem. An alternative might be to contact Faceless Enemy and ask them to take ownership of your example, and add it to the section themselves. I would reinforce Joel's comment about the unsuitability of the sources you're inserting. I see that you've been notified, above, about the discretionary sanctions covering abortion-related material on Wikipedia. I couldn't tell if you've been notified that these pages are also subject to 1RR (a one-revert rule), meaning that no editor should revert more than once in a 24-hour period. Sorry I didn't see the one tiny sentence about immigration for Indians. Still, the rest of it seems to be only about Hispanics.
