Messenger?

Hi Senators, I was just wondering, do you have any of these messengers: YIM, AIM, MSN. If so, please just message me back, because it would be easier to talk on one of them, then waiting for the other to catch up on user talk.JpGrB 00:27, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption

Sure - would love that. Thanks. Do I get the impression that you're a few years my junior?  :) M 3628905 01:21, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox Help

Hey Senators, can you help me arrange my userboxes? I've been having trouble, and if you could help, that'd be great.JpGrB 01:15, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. If you could also give me the 411 on userboxes that would be great. is there a template page that lists all the ones that you can use? Can you make your own ones? And how can you choose how to align the userboxs (ie. Centered, Right-aligned, etc)? Thanks. M 3628905 05:29, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:ADOPT input

Hello, Senators. The Adopt-a-User program is looking for new ideas and input on the program. If you are still interested please stop by the talk page and read some of the ideas being floated and give a comment. If you want to update or change your information on the adopter's list page, now would be a great time! Thanks! V60 干什么? · VDemolitions 03:49, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edits

So far I have:

  • Updated the history section of an article on Experts-Exchange
  • Added a little more info on Worms World Party (video game)
  • Started working on a new page as a bit of a mini project. (It's no complete obviously.)

As I find more items that I have experience in and have not already been covered by others, I will probably make further edits.

Creating new pages/articles: Thanks. I had figured it out while you were at school that if I just typed the name of the new page in the URL it would automatically create one for me. Thanks.

Hi, just wanted to make sure I was ok adding the List Tag to Robert Baer

Adoption template

Hi. I notice that you offered to adopt User:Galactor213, but you didn't change his {{adoptme}} template to {{adoptoffer}}. In the future, please try to remember to do this. Thanks! --Sopoforic 18:36, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption

I accept your offer, and thank you for offering it. Hopefully this will get me to come out of my inactive slump that has hit me of late. However I do have a correction for your correction. I didn't remind you to change my templates, Sopoforic did. So if anything, thank him :D. Galactor213 03:00, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My Main Focus

I try to help with vandalism. I also have my watchlist, and if I find anything on there that needs cleanup or anything else, I try to help fix them. I also try to imporve some of the articles I've created. Soon, I will be getting heavily involved in Wikiprojects. I hope this answer your question. JpGrB 21:40, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:55141 6mg.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:55141 6mg.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:29, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Links to years

I have seen you added some links to years and dates in articles that don't need them. Please read Wikipedia:Only make links that are relevant to the context to see what I mean. Good luck! -- NaBUru38 18:49, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Summary Box

Where is that?

Most things that I'm into have already been covered extensively by others (who most likely know more about the topic than myself). My profile page has details as to what I'm interested in.

Chevrolet Z71

Hi. I have tagged your article Chevrolet Z71 for speedy deletion. The information in the article appears incorrect.

A tag has been placed on Chevrolet Z71, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Information in this article is misleading or even wholly incorrect. The Z71 is an option package, not a range of vehicles. Proper information on the package already exists at Z71.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. VectorD 10:25, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Chevrolet Z71

I've nominated Chevrolet Z71, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Chevrolet Z71 satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chevrolet Z71 and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Chevrolet Z71 during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. —— Eagle101Need help? 06:23, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use disputed for Image:8083 150X150.jpg

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:8083 150X150.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 04:11, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adoptee

You may want to check out the recent contributions of your adoptee MAGI-01. Pastordavid 04:56, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My implication was that you may want to talk to him about the string of 9 vandalism edits in a period of about 20 minutes, explain the consequenses if such behavior continues, and encourage him/her to find a constructive way to contribute to the encyclopedia. Pastordavid 13:32, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You may also note that another admin blocked the MAGI-01 account (see here), as being used primarily for trolling. The block is indefinite, although it can be appealled (instructions here). Pastordavid 14:34, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ford Falcon Article Cleanup

Hello Senators, nice to meet you. Would you be intrested in cleaning up the Ford Falcon article with me? Thanks Harrison-HB4026 09:38, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Excellent. I have edited the opening passage, and thought that we should make the article like the Holden Commodores article and get rid of the infoboxes. Also, I have recruited another user to help.

Thanks Harrison-HB4026 06:20, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I am also in High School so I was trying to recruit more people to help (Many Hands Make Light Work) but thanks in advance for your help. Harrison-HB4026 06:42, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I understand that :) Harrison-HB4026 06:45, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My Interests

I have, in the past, done predominantly anti-vandalism activities as well as minor clean up. However, I've done some work on paraphilias, as well as video games. Galactor213 18:12, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
