So let me get this straight. Wikipedia is not about the truth but about a 3 edit rule?

I read all the recent news on Swedish mainstream media, then saw how out of date and inauthentic this wikipedia page is.

Wikipedia's credibility is based on many factors. Among them are using reliable sources and collaborating to build consensus about article content. Your additions have been reverted by three different editors, which I think should make you consider that the changes perhaps aren't improvements to the article. Crippling of Bismarck

You are ignoring the facts which are as follows;

John Moffat when debriefed after the Bismarck attack never claimed a hit with his torpedo or at any time thereafter until he learnt 44 years later about the US Historian Mark Horan's wrong assumption in his on-line article K-Bismark in about 1988. As a result he was then persuaded by his co-author Mike Rossiter to write a book which he titled as "I sank the Bismarck". Hence the start of the myth created by Google and others through newspapers articles praising him for his non achievement.

Incidentally Moffat was never awarded a medal, unlike sub-flight leaders and those who achieved hits, Tony Beale being another one.

The book and title went ahead knowing the fact that James Cameron had already dived down to Bismarck and filmed the torpedo hole in her STARBOARD steering compartment, the explosion of which jammed her starboard rudder onto her middle propellor. What more evidence is needed to show it could not possibly have been Moffat who attacked to port? In fact only 2 pilots successfully attacked Bismarck's starboard side, Ken Pattisson and Godfrey-Fawssett. It could have been either but Pattisson was in the best firing position.

If you want further proof, then I have copy of a letter from Mark Horan admitting and apologising for his mistake to a Terry Goddard, Keane's Observer in the first attack on the port side (including Moffat). Also a letter from Goddard to me expressing his fury with both Moffat and Horan and also one from Horan to me. Give me an e-mail address and I will send all these to you.

What more do you need to correct the disinformation which for 4 years now Wikipedia are still saying is under dispute.

Yes, maybe U5 webhost applies, especially when the user didn't make any edits to articles or article talk pages. One of the reasons I do that is I am not sure if the British Isles should be included in Northern Europe too, or specifically only Western Europe. I'm sorry, your personal knowledge, even when true, is not enough for Wikipedia. Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify that article content is correct. This is especially important in articles about living (or recently dead) persons where incorrect information can have negative consequences. For these reasons I removed your edits, and I also warned you, as sometimes vandalism takes the form of the vandals adding information claiming the death of living people. I'm sorry if that upset you. You can add her death and date of death to the article, but it needs a reliable source. WP:RS is the guideline for identifying sources that are reliable according to Wikipedia standards. For example an obituary in a local newspaper (preferably with a link to it) would be acceptable to verify that your edit is correct. Perhaps I'm missing something, but where is the source that indicates this takes place during the attack? The provided sources, including the one in your edit summary, specifically talk about a photo before the attack began. I went through the various sources in the Attack section and couldn't find any that mention a pause in the attack to pose for photos; I'm questioning the inclusion of that detail. Oh, I see there's a link in the BBC story to aftonbladet.se which has a firsthand account of a student who talks about a mid-attack picture. But this is sticky, because the BBC article specifically identifies this photo as before the attacks, and all of the other news articles mention a pre-attack photo. Here is a timeline of the attack, published a year after the event when there has been time to clear up the initial confusion that's unavoidable at an event like this. First, the artist must have an article. If you klick on the red link at List of LGBT artists#K you can write a text to create an article. Then add [[Category:Queer artists]] at the bottom of the article and save. There will be an article and if you klick the category link you will se that the artist is added. Completely irrelevant. Redirects are made to enable readers to find the right article if they enter a name or an acronym the think is correct in the search field. The thing is, this is quite true. She's definitely known in social media as "COVID Kim". A simple Google will show that this is true. So I'm not sure what you need from me to keep the edit up?

Unfortunately, Wikipedia has a problem with people who add things that are not true, or things that are not important to the article because they are only known to very few people. For that reason we have strict rules about sources. Anything that can be expected to be challenged needs a reliable source. That is even more important in articles about living people, since we don't want to help anyone spread lies or defamatory content on Wikipedia. I removed your edit because it didn't have a source, and because the nickname sounds derogatory.

If you want to put the name in the article you have to add a reliable sources, i.e. a link to a source that is trustworthy according to Wikipedia standards. A Google search is not a reliable source, but mentions from major news sources are mostly OK. (There are some exceptions like the Daily Mail, RT (TV network) and the WorldNetDaily. Forums and tweets are not reliable sources (except as sourcing for the fact that some famous person said something).

In addition, there's also a question of giving "due weight" to different aspects of an article about a person or a thing. Aspects that are widely and prominently mentioned in reliable sources are given more weight in articles than aspects that are seldom reported in reliable sources. For example, if a nickname is only mentioned in one or two sources, maybe it shouldn't be included in the article at all.

If, after reading this, you decide to add "Covid Kim" to the article, you also need to add a source. It is up to the person who adds a fact to also add a source that supports it. The easiest way is to click "Edit", add your text and then click after the sentence, where you want to add the source. At the top of the page is a link call "Cite", click it. A box will appear, copy the web address to the source you want to use and click "Generate". Wikipedia will create a reference with a link to the source. When it's done, click "Insert". New Page Patrol December Newsletter

Year in review

It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

Not Pyttipanna but Ärtsoppa och Pankaka

Hi Sjö, I'm British so I defer to your much better knowledge as you are Swedish. The reason I added the text you removed was that, from Summer 1977 to Summer 1979, I worked in Sweden. I lived in Lidingö for the first year and in Täby for the second. My office was in Solna and, every Thursday without fail, our local lunch restaurant served pyttipanna o pankaka, which I thought was a very tasty combination. When I asked why it was only served on Thursdays I was told it was a Swedish tradition, which I tried to explain in the text you deleted: "and lingonberry jam — which was often served for lunch on Thursdays so as to use up any left-overs of meat prior to having fish as the main course on Fridays". I said "often" rather than "always" because I am not sure how widespread the tradition was. (Or still is?). That lunch restaurant always served lingonberry jam with the pancakes so I imagined it was part of the tradition but clearly you don't agree with that part of my text! You say: "(and lingonberry jam on pancakes must be *very* local)" If so, maybe my addition would be acceptable to you if it were changed to read: "— which was sometimes served for lunch on Thursdays, so as to use up any left-overs of meat prior to having fish as the main course on Fridays" i.e. removing the type of jam? I ask this only because I believe the reason for serving the pytiipanna every Thursday is worth mentioning. I look forward hearing from you about this. Apparently I stand corrected. Lingonberries to pancakes is not that local, but I would still guess that sweeter jams like strawberry jam is more common, often together with whipped cream. The combination pyttipanna and pancakes is however not a traditional meal. Alleged Suicide Note

According to Jiah's suicide note, Sooraj Pancholi was cheating on the actress and was going around with other girls. Sooraj Pancholi was once dating a woman 20 years older than him. The lady used to supply jewelery to the pancholi family. According to reports, Sooraj Pancholi was cashing in on Jiah Khan's money and also receiving gifts from her.

Signs Of Struggle

The Kalina Forensic Laboratory report of August 16 says that fragments of human flesh were found under Jiah Khan's fingernails. The finding as per Jiah's family show clear signs of struggle before her death.

Incapacitated With Alcohol

FSL report's finding also said that 300 ml alcohol was found in Jiah's stomach. Dr Sharma's report says,"if that amount of alcohol was found in her body, then she was clearly incapacitated and it is possible for an able-bodied person to hang an incapacitated person."

Evidence Was Destroyed

The Kalina Forensic Laboratory also revealed that her underwear had bloods stains. The most important piece of evidence (the human tissue and blood caught in Jiah's finger-nails) was not only not properly investigated, but also destroyed later by the investigating team

She Was Held Tightly

The petition says that besides ligature marks that occur in death due to hanging, injury marks were noticed on Jiah's face and body. An injury was noticed on the right side of her lips and a mark on her left arm suggested as if someone had held her tightly.

Strangulated To Death

While police claimed that Jiah had hanged herself with a muslin 'dupatta'. In the petition, forensic expert Dr R N Jerajani opined that the depth of ligature marks in Jiah's case was difficult to achieve with a soft material. He has further opined that the ligature marks on Jiah's neck are not like the ones usually found on the body of a person who hangs self from a ceiling fan. The possibility of strangulation is not ruled out in this case, he said in the forensic report.

Change In Outfit

The petition further said that CCTV camera footage showed that Jiah had entered her house a few minutes before she committed suicide. At that time, she was wearing a track suit but her body was discovered in a night gown. Would a person about to commit suicide change her dress, the petition asked.

No Signs Of Suicide

The petition says that a person who commits suicide would have his or her eyes popping and tongue protruding out, while in the case of Jiah it was not so. Also, in such cases lung or brain hemorrhage is generally noticed, but in this case this was not observed.

CCTV Footage

In the CCTV footage Rabbiya claimed that Jiah looked happy, while she moved out of her 1st floor apartment with her. Her petition filed in the High Court reads,"It is very apparent from the CCTV footage of the building that the Deceased was in a normal mood."

Jason Payne Forsenic

@Rollingkits: Like the article says, her death has been ruled a suicide. A claim that she was murdered is an extraordinary claim, and as such requires extraordinary evidence. You gave no evidence at all, and for such a claim you would have to add a reliable source. Please see WP:V and WP:RS for more information. Also, our policy on neutrality says that articles should present the facts in a balanced way. In the case of Jiah Khan, the forensic report could be mentioned but not given undue weight per this section of the neutrality policy. I must point out that the report apparently has been presented to the court and has been found unconvincing. You are welcome to add neutrally word text together with a source as long as you don't make claims that are contradicted by a majority of reliable sources. Sjö (talk) 09:52, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
