We have now reached our goal of getting the number of Stub-Class articles below 600. The current count is 586. It still would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers that should be fairly easy to improve.
Nathan Jones was injured in Thailand, after he was hit by a truck. Jones had recently signed a deal with TNA, but will now be out for at least 3 months.
Collaboration of the Week
The Collaboration of the Week has recently been revamped, and we will now have 6 collaborations at a time. The current collaborations will stand until they reach a certain goal, e.g. Good article status.

Offstage trumpet
Why would you propose deletion within minutes of another editor creating the article. To my knowledge, there is no rule that says that you have to write a complete article "off line", and then post it to Wikipedia. An article can develop over a reasonable period. Could you give a person a fair period to get the article going...I dunno, perhaps 1 or 2 hours, before proposing an article for deletion? (except in the case of obvious vandalism, such as "Mary Bobosski is a ((#$)*", which is obviously not a real article). Hi, I just checked the History section. I started to have self-doubt, and think that maybe my mind was playing tricks...maybe the article had been there for a while??? The article was created and then four minutes later, up went the deletion tag. OnBeyondZebrax (talk) 20:08, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
What confused me about the policy was that I see "stub" articles with little more than a title and a single sentence. I suppose in some cases those are OK because a group have editors have decided, as part of a Wiki project, that an article is needed on that topic. Also, I have never had such a quick proposed deletion before, especially for such a low-profile article. But I went to that list of "started-and-never improved" articles, and I see your point. Most people just start badly, and walk away. My practice, though, is to develop the articles into respectable product...but I understand that you can't be scrolling through everyone's contrib's section...ThanksOnBeyondZebrax (talk) 20:20, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
