Hello, Sandra. I'm not sure what you were trying to do when you edited Wikipedia:User pages, but whatever it was, your edits were not helpful, and have been reverted. If they were test edits, then please don't make test edits in publicly visible pages. I see that you have now created a user sandbox, which is a better place for testing. I apologize for the edits I was attempting to customize my userpage but I am a bit lost at what I am doing. Smjeanbaptiste (talk) 03:29, 27 February 2013‎ (UTC)[reply]
Yes, Wikipedia can be very confusing when you are new to editing, but it does get much clearer once you have had a bit of experience. The page Wikipedia:User pages is a page of information about user pages, such as what they are used for, and so on: it is not what you edit to change your own user page. I see that you have now found out how to edit your user page, at User:Smjeanbaptiste, and have experimented with editing it a bit. I also see that you have found how to create a user sandbox, which is a good place to try things out if you are not sure what you are doing. I am posting a "Welcome" message at the top of this page, which contains links to various pages about how to use Wikipedia. Don't try to read and learn all of them before you do any editing, as there is far too much there to take in, but do have a look at any pages that look relevant to what you want to do, and you can come back to them later to find out other things.
Another thing that you are evidently not clear about is adding signatures to talk page messages. It's actually very easy: you just type four tildes, in other words ~~~~. The Wikimedia software automatically replaces them by a signature, including links to your user page and talk page, which is very useful for anyone who wants to get back to you. (You made your message to me on this page look as though I had posted it, by copying my signature. I have put that right.)
Please do feel welcome to contact me on my talk page again if you have any more questions. JamesBWatson (talk) 08:09, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is not allowed as even if reffed there are concerns of copyright issues. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 07:35, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
