Greeting[edit]

Hello. I am a designated online Wikipedia online volunteer for the Neurobiology (Spring 2014) ‎class in which you have enrolled. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have about how to use or edit Wikipedia. I can be reached by posting at User talk:DESiegel. You could also post any questions at the Help desk, which is a page for anyone with a question about how to edit Wikipedia. DES (talk) 19:50, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page conventions[edit]

It is usual to start a new subject or thread on a talk page, particularly a user talk page, in a new section, as this one is. You can create a section by placing double equals signs around the section header:

== Like this header ==

or you can use the "Start new section" tab at the top of your page. In some display skins this is identified only with a plus sign. See Help:Section and Help:Using talk pages for more detail. DES (talk) 17:25, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
