I don't call myself a professional, just an enthusiast. I've done a lot of work in the Pyramidellidae earlier this year. But I couldn't finish, as my workload in this project is so enormous and I had to go on to other families checking each run of the Ganeshkbot (a bot creating lots of articles). At the moment I'm working on the Calliostomatidae, checking each genus and adding text and photos wherever possible. I would appreciate I you would continue on the Pyramidelldae. There is still a lot of work to be done in this family. I will check upon your work regularly. And if you would get the impression that some genera are polyphyletic, that is because they are probably so. Dr. Bouchet (of the Museum of National History in Paris) agrees with me on that point. Hey, welcome, and one small thing

Hello Solo Toady, and Welcome!!! I was happy to see you had joined the gastropod project. I Just got back from 2 weeks on a shelling trip with almost no internet connection. I was delighted to see that you are working on the Pyramidellidae, a very voluminous but poorly understood group. I wanted to ask you if you would do one thing, which is that when you create a new gastropod article, could you also put the gastropod project template on the talk page of the new article? That would save us a lot of work. If it is a species article and it is a stub, and it has no photo, you could put:

{{WikiProject Gastropods|class=stub|importance=low|needs-photo=yes}}

A genus article would have the same thing but with importance=mid.

Another couple of things

Hello again Solo Toady. Can I mention a couple more things? I just wanted to ask that, all through an article, it would be better if you would put all of the Latin genus and species names into italics, not only just in the taxobox and in the first mention of the name. Also, when you create a taxobox for a genus, you don't need to use the "Binomial name" field at all, you just put ... genus = ... and then ...genus_authority = ... , like that.

In the taxobox you can put the genus name in boldface and in italics, as it is the title of the article. I started fixing the last few of your new stubs here, and I changed the prose a little bit too in a couple of them, but I won't have time today to go through any of them throughly, let alone fixing up all of your new stubs. However my edits on the last few will give you some idea of what I am talking about. All very best wishes to you,

More notes about the taxoboxes, etc

Just wanted to explain that when I wrote that you don't need the binomial field in the taxobox, that was only the case for genus articles. You need to use it in all the species articles.

And I also wanted to explain that the phrase "marine terrain" is an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms, the word terrain being used only for land masses, not submarine surfaces.

Thanks to you SoloToady for all your very hard work. It is very much appreciated! Please take it easy with making all these new stub articles, slow down a bit or take a break so you don't burn out! You are not making mistakes exactly, it just takes a little while to get used to the way we do things here in Project Gastropods. I hope you don't mind that I have told you about several things over the week or two, I just think it's better to tell you now rather than after you had done dozens more articles! :) I should explain to you that for marine species we do sometimes use a bot which can create stubs using the info in the WoRMS database, however, the bot is currently busy working on other families of marine gastropods.
