Hi stitchill Stitchill (talk) 13:14, 12 May 2008 (UTC) test[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Chapman (name), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Chapman. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 01:11, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dunfermline[edit]

do you know what directions in the town, the areas of Touch, Garnock Hill, Bellyeoman and West Pitchetrie Farm? (for example, Touch is to the north-east of Dunfermline) it would save some neccessary space on the article and i only want to get to the point of what direction within the town, new housing was built between the 1950s and 1960s. if you know, can you change accordingly. thanks.

p.s. the section "1904" has been removed and re-located to the new article, Pittencrieff Park since i felt it was a lot better there than on the main article. Kilnburn (talk) 11:15, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

about the mention of the bandstand, it's in Dunfermline Public Park, near Dunfermline Town Station. apparently, the glen (Pittencrieff) was cut in two, to make way for a new road (St Margaret's Drive) to link the existing town centre with the southern gateway. RfD nomination of Decade (1480s)[edit]

I have nominated Decade (1480s) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) for discussion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. NJGW (talk) 23:51, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Cock and the Jewel[edit]

You didn't check the discussion page before reverting just now. I've started the subject of reversion up there and had already left a message on Jimp Jougler's page as I am on yours now. Please help us all to understand the reason for your changes and let's make this a co-operative work, as WP is meant to be.

I should mention too that I had checked my additions with a colleague when I made them and that they are not unsupported. Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 16:34, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your note on my talk page; I appreciated that. My time has been limited lately which is why I have not come back to you until now. I've got some book sub-editing to do in the coming weeks that looks as if it's going to take most of the time I have over from other things. However, I'll have a look at your modified edits this evening and come back to you. I thought I'd also ask you whether you think it would be a good idea to move our discussion from now on to the article's discussion page. Others might appreciate seeing how those who share an interest can co-operate on taking an article forward without destructive editing or acrimony.Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 14:50, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Preiching of the Swallow[edit]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to The Preiching of the Swallow. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. — Smjg (talk) 00:49, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

My intention in creating the page was always to create a full article. This I have now begun. --Stitchill (talk) 01:32, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Flouers o Edinburgh moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, The Flouers o Edinburgh, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Theatre Alba requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
