Since my first message, I learned how to welcome newcomers so I did so above. You will probably notice that your addition of the high school content to the Baulkham Hills article was deleted by another editor. This may be because that editor didn't deem the content notable enough for inclusion. I think I've seen somewhere a comment that a high school should only be included if it was exceptional in some way, e.g., some famous person or persons attended it, but I can't locate it now. Anyhow, you might take a look at the discussion of notability for an idea of what editors think belongs in Wikipedea. Also, the list of bad article ideas may be helpful in that it gives examples. Mac Park

Hmmm...you're right in a way. Macquarie Park is born out of North Ryde but really is a separate suburb. Sometimes people get localities confused with suburbs. For example, North Carlingford is a locality and not a suburb but Oatlands is actually a separate suburb. Subset suburbs - I know what you mean but they don't really exist.

I probably did get too worked up about the issue but I do that when people revert work and are not willing to compromise in an any way. I live in Brisbane and up here we have the Place Names Act which actually makes it illegal to identify yourself in the wrong suburb - perfect for anal people like me! :-p Dankru 07:47, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
