Adopt me?

Wow, after reading probably over 100 wiki adoption ads I thought no Canadians cared about this. Thankfully The DEMON Hog caught my eye. Anyways I was wondering if you are intereted in adopting me for a fairly large project. I am fairly new to this and have been trying to update the MTV Canada Host Profiles which has resulted in a lot of deletions. (Fuck me) anyways, I really would love some major help in getting them working and providing correct information. Are you interested? Jamierush (talk) 19:05, 4 January 2008 (UTC)Jamie

Yes, I am interested.  :) And there are lots of Canadians on Wikipedia. You can find a list of some of them at Category:Wikipedians in Canada. –thedemonhog talkedits 02:55, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

MTV Host Profiles

I would like help with the MTV Canada Host Profiles you can search them all on the MTV Live wikipedia page. The two that are in pirority are Aliya-Jasmine Sovani and Diane Salema because they have been deleted. What should I do? Jamierush (talk) 16:10, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Jamie

Wow. I have a lot of work ahead of me. Thanks a lot. Jamierush (talk) 15:24, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Jamie

List of Heroes episodes

Nice job. Second article we've both edited extensively that ended up featured, though unlike TTLG your edits made it to absolutely different from my last edit. Just stay away from the Doctor Who articles, okay? Those are my territory :P. (By the way, nice fandoms). Will (talk) 23:32, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Don't worry, I have never even seen a Doctor Who episode. –thedemonhog talkedits 00:02, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
By the way, what do you think of this article? It's at FAC right now, and given your expertise with episode articles (I used the TTLG article as a basis), your opinion would be helpful (on the FAC or here, I'm not really bothered). And on the subject of episodes at FAC - Greatest Hits: supported the candidacy (with one reservation about the article, but it didn't affect my support), and I agree with the episode describing Clitheroe as the "arse-end of nowhere". Will (talk) 00:19, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Aliya-Jasmine Sovani

I've been working on recreating the Aliya-Jasmine page in my sandbox http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jamierush/Sandbox and wanted your feedback on it. Also Tanthalas39 has been helping me and has requested the page be unblocked.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection#Current_requests_for_unprotection Is there anything else you suggest or can help out with? WP:LOTD

In the last month, you have created a new WP:FL. From what I can tell, you are a veteran and have produced others in the past. Congratulations! You may be aware of WP:LOTD and have probably heard from me in prior months. We are experimenting with selecting Lists of the Day so similar to the current WP:TFA and WP:POTD features that run on the main page. I am invite those who have created new FLs in the last month to participate.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 21:58, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Basically, we have to build support until it looks like something viable for the main page. Please come by your votes are needed.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 22:48, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
P.S. the logic that all FL will make the main page neglects the fact that probably 1000 new FLs will be produced in the next two years.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 22:55, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Code for the Lost Season/Episode lists

Hi. You have been one of the busiest editors of the Lost articles and have done great work so far, so I guess you can help me out. :-) The way that Lost has its episode list, then season articles (then episode articles) would work great on one of my favorite shows and I would like to imitate Lost's style. Unfortuntely, I still haven't figured out the coding as in that the episode list transcludes the season articles somehow without showing the episode summaries and the intro and the rest. I guess it has something to do with the <onlyinclude>, but when I try to transclude e.g. Lost (season 3) somewhere else, the episode summaries are still shown. Can you tell me what the trick is? Greetings, – sgeureka t•c 20:16, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

You should ask Ned Scott, as he is the one who set up the transclusion. –thedemonhog talkedits 20:24, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I'll do that then. – sgeureka t•c 20:35, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Hi,

Just want to thank you for the barnstarn (on Danish wiki) :) The show itself has been driving me so far, but it's very motivating that the effort is noticed elsewhere :) And of course you deserve a whole bunch of compliments for your work on the English Lost-wiki. It's great reading! I hope to help out more on the English Lost-wiki in the future, once the Danish gets all up to speed. But, thank you, both for the barnstarn and for all your great writing! - Mark Jensen (talk) 07:46, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

FAC urgents

Thanks for updating the FAC urgents; I can't do everything :-) But ... that list is intended to be not a list of the oldest, but a list of those that haven't received significant commentary. For example, History of evolution has received a lot of commentary but has unresolved issues; the urgent list is intended to represent neglected FACs, to encourage more review. peer review

I was wondering if you could take some time out of your schedule to head over to the Heroes (TV series) talkpage and give us an honest peer review. The page has gone through some major changes in the last few months, and it would be fantastic if a prominent editor/contributor like yourself, could head over and give us at the Heroes Wikiproject some sound opinion and ideas on improvements for the page. We have all worked very hard at improving the page, and we need great outside, reliable and trustworthy users to come over and help us improve. I you are interested in joining the peer review discussion with other prominent users/contributors, much like yourself, please follow the link. Thank you very much for your help and your continued effort to improve Wikipedia and its quality! Christian Shephard

The producers actually said that they "may be using the word 'dead' in a sense we [the audience] don't fully understand yet." meaning that he may be dead to the outside world but alive on the island (just like naomi dorrit said that flight 815 was found with no survivors even though they are infact alive on the island). BERTIE LOST FAN (talk) 18:28, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Can I have the link, please? In the Blu-ray special feature "Access Granted", they say that Christian is dead. And interpreting the above quote is considered original research. –thedemonhog talkedits 23:54, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Hello

I've noticed you've done a lot of work on lists and articles that have been promoted to featured status and I was wandering if you could take some time to help me out by making some suggestions for what else can be done to this article. I do believe it's okay right now, but there's always room for improvement and I would really appreciate if you could aid me in that improvement simply by leaving suggestions. Cheers, The no erz (talk) 05:55, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

My suggestion to you is give up. Unless you're a Wikipedia admin, you're work is going to be trans-wikied as it was for all the episodes in List of Stargate SG-1 episodes. You want to see what you're articles will look like in a few months time? Like this (and that's before the article got deleted). Unless you can establish real world notability - unless you can show how episodes of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles changed the course of the 2008 US presidential elections, you should just give up. All you're doing, otherwise, is setting yourself up for disappointment. So give up, for your own good. That's what Wikipedia would want you to do (as demonstrated above). Autoswung (talk) 16:54, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
I have given up and will never edit Wikipedia again. Thank you for opening my eyes. –thedemonhog talkedits 18:03, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Lost photos

Hi, why did you change all of my photos back? I find it very rude after how long it took to put them up. And you deleted them like they never existed? Besides the fact that all of your "sources" are lies in the first place, and you didn't even change them back.

And I scanned "your" image for the season 3 ad, the one you reverted it back to, so I would now like you to take it down. It's not your property. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexisfan07 (talkcontribs) 05:44, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Let's go in order by season. Thank you for uploading a portrait version of Image:Lost-Season1.jpg. Now it is consistent with the other season pages. You uploaded Image:LostSeason1Cast.jpg and deleted my Image:Lost cast (season 1).png, which I uploaded. There are a few reasons why I reverted this. There was nothing wrong with the old one and it had Rose in it. You replaced Image:PosterTwo.jpg with Image:LostSeason2SalePoster.jpg and I reverted because the new one is very similar to the DVD cover (a weak reason). You uploaded Image:LostS3Promo2.jpg, which is almost the same as Image:LostS3Promo.jpg. Wikipedia has a strict non-free content policy and guideline, which states that copyrighted images may be used, but do not use them when they do not significantly improve the reader's understanding of a topic. You uploaded Image:Lostseason4poster.jpg and removed Image:Lost season 4.png. I thank you for your work, but it was unnecessary. It may have taken you a long time to put them up, but it took me a long time to put the original copies up. You said that my sources were lies in the first place. Yes, they are outdated, and the links no longer direct to the source of the pictures, so I will have to update them. I was not being sneaky; I did not realize that those image descriptions were no longer accurate. As for you scanning "my" image and it not being my property, I am unsure of what you mean by that. I am sorry if you feel like I am out to get you (which I am not) and I hope that you continue to edit Wikipedia. It seems that you would be a valuable contributor, as you already understand what talk pages are and the importance of citing sources. Also, please sign your posts on talk pages with four tildes like this: ~~~~ or use the signature button. Sorry, –thedemonhog talkedits 06:19, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
I put the official posters in the main blocks - the ones ABC sold. That's why I changed the seasons two and three ones. I hope you keep the official season two poster up. As for season 3, the image was scanned by me and given to lost-media.com for THEM to use. If you want proof, go check the credit in the poster caption on that site. I want the first version and the second version up, how I had changed it. Since no version of everyone was released, it's only fair. Besides, since that is my image I could easily just remove it. I don't want to boss you around in the least, I just don't like that Eko isn't represented in that season page, and the poster (not the cast photo) is the place to do that. It represents "better viewer understanding" like you said. Also, why bother changing the cast photo caption back and forth? The way I changed it was so it WOULD match the other pages. You're just being a hypocrite by changing it. And I had changed the season four image because you can't tell who anyone is, and the other version was slightly bigger (also for betting viewer understanding). Same with the better version of the season three change. And the season two poster looks like the dvd because they base the covers OFF of the posters. And I changed the season one picture (though it was harder to label) for the sake of Rose being in it. She's not a main character, and that too would confuse the people looking at it.
Touché. I will properly reply to this tomorrow morning my time as I am going to sleep now. –thedemonhog talkedits 07:07, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
You do not own the season 3 poster; ABC does. You are not the only one with that image and someone else would have uploaded it. Eko was in two episodes, so I do not feel a need to represent him. Sorry about the caption change; I was reverting all your edits. It helps if you leave an edit summary. Even though you uploaded a larger version of the season 4 image, the characters are still hard to see the characters. I won't argue about the season 2 poster. I don't see how a picture of Rose would confuse the reader. –thedemonhog talkedits 21:17, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
I own that scan, however. It has a white mark on Jin's face, which is how I know it's mine. As for Eko, I have a huge problem with that. First off, that's not the for sale version of the poster. Second, he was a MAIN CHARACTER for the season, despite how little he appeared. And third, it let viewers that have only seen through season two that he died. They may think it was in the hatch implosion, but either way, that's very bad. And Rose being there is confusing because she is not a main character nor is she important in season one. She appears less than many other recurring characters do in other seasons.

"He means as a hostage, lav"

Related to Lost season 4 - are you personally okay with splitting the main character table to the Oceanic Six and the other characters? Will (talk) 06:35, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

I would actually rather redirect Oceanic Six to Lost (season 4) and keep the main characters in one big table. –thedemonhog talkedits 07:11, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Speaking of the Lost (season 4) article - some of the citations desperately need fixing, or properly attributing - I don't think it'd get to FA/FL with a source to SpoilerFix of places. Will (talk) 07:30, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Should the Oceanic Six be added to the nav template under "Groups"? I know we are undecided regarding what we are going to do with the article, but I think it is a reasonable guess that it will become a common search term. The redirect should take care of it, regardless. As I commented at the AfD, I think the term may develop enough independent notability that we will eventually have a seperate article. Ursasapien (talk) 07:33, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
A redirect doesn't need a place in the navbox. I've been busy the last couple days and have not been fully watching Lost (season 4). Don't worry, it will be whipped into shape within the next couple weeks. By the end of the season, the page will look quite different. Most of the prose will be moved to episode articles and the page will resembele Lost (season 3). Is SpoilerFix really referenced?thedemonhog talkedits 08:19, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
SpoilerFix does cite its sources, but the amount of rumours make it not a good source itself (compare to Wiki). By the way, I've nommed The Economist for DYK as its been expanded within the last few days. Will (talk) 02:14, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

The Economist article

Just a question: where do you get your sources from? That's something that really amazes me, as I could use them for the Economist article :) Will (talk) 11:13, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

E!, TV Guide, Entertainment Weekly, IGN, BuddyTV, UGO, TV Squad and Television Without Pity almost always give reviews. After that, I start to go down the list of most-read American newspapers. DarkUFO's sites [4][5][6] and Lost-Media are also quite helpful. Sorry for the late reply, –thedemonhog talkedits 04:09, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
For production - I already knew TWP, IGN, and BuddyTV do weekly reviews :) Will (talk) 10:06, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Oh. E!, TV Guide, EW and IGN often feature interviews with the producers and cast, which are copied by DarkUFO, who also copies interviews from newspaper websites, such as that of USA Today. BuudyTV reports on online happenings, such as fan speculation and leak of spoilers, more than the other websites. The Official ABC.com podcast and the DVD's help too. Also, a comment at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Lost#Season images would be appreciated. –thedemonhog talkedits 04:43, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

I just noted this thread on the Wikiproject's talk page. I went through and put fair use rationales on several of the images that are noted on your (thedemonhog's) page. Now, I am not sure if I should have. The three or four images seemed appropriate to me, but as the uploader, I should have let you have the final word. Let me know what you think. Lost eps

Hi - do you think you could discuss your changes to the plot sections of the individual episodes on their talk pages? You say the style is changing regarding naming the actors in the Plot sections - where is this being discussed? There's a discussion on Eggtown talk about whether or not to identify the baby as Claire's, which is not done in the show itself, but rather than explaining your position on Talk you've just made the change - seems to me this is OR, as I and another editor indicated - how about coming to Talk and explaining your position rather than just changing the text repeatedly? Consensus would be helpful so people don't waste their time editing. Thanks. Tvoz |talk 08:08, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

The featured articles for "Greatest Hits" and "Through the Looking Glass" have the cast in brackets and none of the regular Lost WikiProject contributors have objected. I cited an interview with Evangeline Lilly as confirmation that it is the same Aaron, so I did not feel a need to announce the change on the discussion page. For the record, I did not change the text repeatedly and no one else has disputed my edit. Sorry for not replying sooner, –thedemonhog talkedits 04:21, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
I was looking at the other eps in this season, which did not have the actors' names included in the plot summary - perhaps it has been changed, but was not so as of Friday. I just think we should be consistent. As for the baby being Claire's - I also of course thought that was the case, but was cautioning against our stating assumptions as facts. I suppose the interview as a confirming source makes a difference, but I can tell you that the Film project doesn't necessarily agree with including things in "Plot" that are discovered by interview or other means - they feel that only things actually revealed in the film (episode) should be in the plot section, and an interpretation section or the like can have the cited explanations. (See discussions surrounding the film Once, for example - about translating a phrase that is in Czech without subtitles, but has been widely understood and confirmed by the actors.) Anyway - I can live with it this way, but do think we should be looking at other eps for consistency. Tvoz |talk 06:21, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Do you reckon there's anything else I need to include before I nominate the page The Economist (Lost) for GA? I'm a bit concerned about the shortness of the production section - then again, I am used to those sections being about six or seven paragraphs long. Will (talk) 20:53, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Maybe you should add a bit on what Naveen Andrews thought of the episode and his character's development[7][8] and a few sentences on the confusion caused by Elsa's bracelet.[9]thedemonhog talkedits 21:19, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. Looks like DarkUFO wasn't handy in that case :/ Will (talk) 21:32, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Actually, I got the Digital Spy interview from DarkUFO. –thedemonhog talkedits 21:35, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, the filter option: I checked "Naveen Andrews", "Sayid", and "The Economist", and didn't come up with that, IIRC. Will (talk) 21:47, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Confirmed Dead

I'm going to have to contest you writing 90% of the episode's article now, I've rewritten the plot at least :P (but you've still written the majority). Will (talk) 16:16, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

There you go ;) –thedemonhog talkedits 16:20, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
On the same subject, how much did your version of the Looking Glass plot differ from mine (I'm talking at FA promotion to my hedgecutting)? You made a big copyedit to the prose, but there are still some phrases left from my version, such as the "depressed, unshaven, addicted to Oxycodone, and heavily drinking" (I also added some UK ratings - citing a Doctor Who website, oh the irony!) I still agree you did the majority of that, but I've always been afraid to contest that as it's an FA, so I've said "two and a half" when talking about it (Doomsday (Doctor Who) and M62 motorway are the other two) on IRC, which raises a few eyebrows.
Two other things: 3,999 mainspace edits and 996 Wikipediaspace edits. Easily broken tonight :D, and;
What is this, the Lost fans who love Eurovision cabal?!? :P Will (talk) 16:30, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
There are still some phrases form your version. I wrote "support per Will" as a joke because you had not given any reason for supporting. As for my edit count…? –thedemonhog talkedits 16:46, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Yay, now it's over 4000. I was actually checking if you were an admin or not (as I forgot the result of your RFA, and Interiot's editcounter is easier for me), and I saw you nearly at "X thousand" in two namespaces. Thought I'd bring it up. Will (talk) 17:13, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Ji Yeon

Can I have a go at this episode, seeing as you did the last three? I'm not back from school until 3pm GMT, but I should be able to get a start on the article as soon as I get home. Will (talk) 22:05, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Lost

I just want to say what a great job you do with all the Lost wiki entries. Keep up the great work, and thank you! Tabor (talk) 21:02, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Here here! I wholeheartedly agree. Digging up and citing all those reviews and production details obviously takes a lot of effort, and that effort really enriches the articles. Thank you, your efforts are much appreciated.

Why is it important?

Why is it important on The Other Woman (Lost) to have credits for Penny even though she wasn't in the episode? -- SilvaStorm

Mentioning Sonya Walger is not important, but mentioning who Charles Widmore is in relation to key characters is. –thedemonhog talkedits 15:30, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Spoiler

I am very angry that the picture from Meet Kevin Johnson was displayed. I was not expecting to see this at all. You shouldn't do that next time. --74.74.220.34 (talk) 02:34, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

The Man Behind the Curtain

J/w, are you ever going to work on this article like you've done with the featured ones? If so, I'd be willing to help with it.--CyberGhostface (talk) 14:24, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Will has rewritten the plot summary in his sandbox. Currently, I am working on the fourth season articles because information is easier to find (don't have to search through any archives) and they receive much more traffic. –thedemonhog talkedits 23:57, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

DYK

Updated DYK query On 13 March, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article The Other Woman (Lost), which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

--Royalbroil 04:41, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

You know, your book's upside down.

So, time for the weekly Lost thread. Some stuff:

  • Depending on how long the podcasts take to download and I get my crap together and write, I should have the article ready for DYK and GA by Sunday night.
  • Interview for the S4 finale - might be useful if you haven't already used it.
  • How should we go about writing the remaining episode pages? Odds are, we'll be the only two who are writing them (for this season at least) - should we alternate episodes (e.g. you do even numbered episodes, I do odd numbered episodes, and we both do the finale), or alternate sections (I do the lead and the plot, you do production, we both do reception)?
  • Oh, and the episode was good. Let away the fact Kevin is Michael too early though :/

Viva la season 4 featured topic! Will (talk) 01:10, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

    • I say that we alternate articles. –thedemonhog talkedits 02:05, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
      • Understandable. What do we do with the finale, as it encompasses #12 and #13? Will (talk) 02:08, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
        • I am guessing that it will be under one article like "Pilot" and "Exodus" and we can collaborate on that one. –thedemonhog talkedits 02:12, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
          • Oh, and forewarning: on either the 5th or the 12th of April (airdate pending), Doomsday (Doctor Who) will hopefully be on the main page. Keep your eyes peeled for vandalism and disruptive AFDs :) Will (talk) 02:16, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
            • Well, Monday night, though you might have to nominate the article - I'm going to Belgium tommorow morning and won't be back until Tuesday afternoon, though I might try and find an internet cafe in Oostende. Will (talk) 19:59, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
              • And nominated for DYK. I'm not going for GA until I can get my hands on the podcast, which hopefully will allow me to expand the proposed DYK hook. Will (talk) 22:48, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I've reviewed this article and listed it as a Good article. Happy editing! THE KC (talk) 15:37, 15 March 2008 (UTC).

IP warning

You as one the most active Lost editors might be interested in the edits of the IPs 68.197.218.104 and 220.237.123.101. They seem to be spamming infoboxes with people's names (nn actors? schoolkids?) I have already reverted a few, but this will take some time, which I don't have ATM. – sgeureka tc 19:18, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Looks great now, and I've passed it. I'll go ahead and tell Will that you've made the changes. And thanks for the barnstar, it's my first "true" barnstar, and it made my day! Have a great day yourself, Mastrchf91 (t/c) 23:08, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Ji Yeon/DYK

Before going on to write the plot for Meet Kevin Johnson, do you want to help with keeping the DYK episode chain? I'm having problems with the hook I proposed. Will (talk) 21:58, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Maybe you could say something like "Did you know that actor Daniel Dae Kim was arrested for driving under the influence just days before shooting "Ji Yeon", an episode of Lost's fourth season?" You could add a few sentences about him being arrested, fans speculating that he would be killed off and the "Lost Curse", citing [10], [11] and [12]. –thedemonhog talkedits 23:04, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. Depending on if Darlton recap the episode in tommorow's podcast (which they should; they need to confirm who the sixth of the Six is), I'll make this my featured contribution to the FT (you have The Beginning of the End and possibly Meet Kevin Johnson, I have Ji Yeon, we both have the finale). Will (talk) 23:20, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
On second thought, it makes more sense for that information to be in "The Other Woman" because a few days before shooting "Ji Yeon" = shooting "The Other Woman". –thedemonhog talkedits 00:15, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
He wasn't really in The Other Woman, was he? Will (talk) 00:27, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

After nearly eighteen months, the slash writers get their confirmation!

Sorry, my plot fingers were twitching. >_> I'm getting good at these short summaries, though. Will (talk) 06:21, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

The Shape of Things to Come (Lost)

The Shape of Things to Come (Lost) has been officially confirmed on the podcast. -- SilvaStorm

I know and as I said, check the history. Talk:Lost (TV series)#New episode article is also relevant. –thedemonhog talkedits 01:30, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
You've got a sandbox version of the episode's article... want to copy it into mainspace? Fixes my objection at least. (oh, and I did the reception for MKJ too, so you might want to remove "95%". I promise, though, next episode's your's to write) Sceptre (talk) 01:42, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
You have permission to remove an article from the 95% list. –thedemonhog talkedits 08:06, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Something Nice

Appears our plan to split the writing wasn't as successful ;). You did 4.1, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.9, I did 4.3, 4.7, we co-wrote 4.2, 4.8, so I'm behind on pulling my weight. Let me have a go at 4.10, k? ;) Sceptre (talk) 19:57, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Not sure if my compliance is implied so here it is: "Okay." –thedemonhog talkedits 04:29, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
I'll get on it tommorow as part of an all-day drive - get two articles to GAC quality and another to GAC quality minus reviews. Sceptre (talk) 15:32, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Who is taking "Cabin Fever"? –thedemonhog talkedits 19:25, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
I wouldn't mind doing it. Sceptre (talk) 19:41, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Actually, can you do 4.10 and I do 4.11? I'm not really in an article-writing mood recently. Sceptre (talk) 12:57, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Cabin Fever might be the last S4 page to get GA/FA - I can just about get it to DYK by the end of tonight, but I'm a bit busy in RL - I can write, but I won't be able to polish it. Sceptre (talk) 19:15, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Seeing as SNBH didn't get DYK (my fault again), I'm not going to rush myself on this - I'm not feeling that well tonight, but I'll plod on and get it done at a good page :) Sceptre (talk) 20:05, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
SNBH not getting DYK was not your fault. On another note: I think that SNBH is the most difficult fourth season Lost episode to get production information for. –thedemonhog talkedits 23:12, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

What do you reckon the odds of it being replaced again are? I've pretty much aired my grievances with the TFA system already, though, no need to repeat them here. Sceptre (talk) 22:12, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, that was pretty much an uphill climb. I really don't like the new system... still, I can wait another eleven weeks to get the article there :) Sceptre (talk) 00:24, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

24 WikiProject

Hello there, I see you are on the 24 WikiProject. It's been quite dead for some time now, and me personally, I intend to revive it. I considered maybe even a 24 Portal, i see the project founder hasn't been on Wikipedia for nearly a year. What are your thoughts on the project? Are you still interested in it? And would you help revive it? Let me know, I would intend to help out a lot, maybe "take over" the founders position, well not take over, but possibly help lead the project? Was just a thought and I wanted your input. My talk page would be the best place. Cheers, Steve Crossin (talk) (anon talk) 19:46, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Dear demonhog, Thank you for the great changes to Anastasius Sinaita. You have an excellent eye, and the changes in the format, as well as the grammar, improved the whole article. I will withdraw the candidacy for now.

Dear Demondog, Thank you for your kind remarks and your sophisticated advise. I will withdraw Anastasius Sinaita for the time being and ask some colleagues for their contributions. Perhaps some day soon it will get up to speed. I also have another article waiting in the wings, which is longer. This experience will certainly help me head in the right direction with any future Wikipedia ventures. Again, it's been a real pleasure working in this environment - especially with such talented and patient professionals as yourself. Thank you, Clementkuehn (talk) 00:01, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

New Project

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.

If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 04:53, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
