Copyright[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Dave Strader article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. Khatru2 11:13, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Playbook logo.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Playbook logo.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:22, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Hello Tigersfan1992. Just some friendly advice, before you add How Acquired, first bring the idea up at Wikipedia talk: WikiProject Ice Hockey OR Wikipedia talk: WikiProject Ice Hockey/Team pages format. GoodDay 01:10, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Protecting your user page...[edit]

Putting a semiprotection template on your page does not semiprotect it -- only an admin can protect and unprotect pages. If you want your user page protected, go to WP:RPP and follow the instructions there. Gscshoyru 21:52, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've semi-protected it until December, which is the date you wrote on the protection tag. Drop a note on my talk page or WP:RFPP if you ever want it adjusted. -- zzuuzz (talk) 22:56, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Collegescoreboard 307x153.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Collegescoreboard 307x153.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:53, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Roster templates[edit]

Jacob, please have a look at discussions at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ice Hockey. Templates you have created for entire championship teams have been deleted in the past, and future templates may be deleted. Please join the discussion. Thanks. trade[edit]

I see that you don't like trade. I don't know, I think that it is good for the Tigers. As a Yankee hater I like it. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 00:40, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lists of Michigan Wolverines football receiving leaders[edit]

Since you have edited {{Michigan Wolverines Football}}, I thought you might consider supporting Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/Lists of Michigan Wolverines football receiving leaders.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 15:52, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated List of University of Michigan head football coaches, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of University of Michigan head football coaches. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. michfan2123 (talk) 22:53, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1939 in baseball[edit]

do you think that a new article is needed? doesn't 1939 in baseball cover everything? --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 23:19, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Major League Baseball season articles[edit]

I've been noticing that you are creating articles on many MLB seasons in various years. However, I would recommend that you fill each article with content as you go instead of mass creating blank articles. Happy editing! -- King of ♠ 23:20, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
