A tag has been placed on ConnectomeWiki requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. —Largo Plazo (talk) 14:46, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ConnectomeWiki[edit]

The linking requires a community discussion somewhere. Please help the discussion along by sticking entirely to answering questions and providing information. Ultimately this is the way wikis will go in the future, interlinking a web of knowledge from the generalists encyclopedias such as wikipedia to more specialized knowledge such as ConnectomeWiki. Is the time right now? I don't know, but en.wiki editors will decide that. --69.225.2.24 (talk) 21:15, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

BAGBot: Your bot request ConnectomeBot[edit]

Someone has marked Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/ConnectomeBot as needing your input. Please visit that page to reply to the requests. Thanks! Discussion on ConnectomeBot[edit]

I opened a discussion at the VPR (Village Pump Proposals) and advertised it at the External Links Notice Board also. Feel free to post your comments about your proposed bot at that location. I personally think the linking to expert semantic wikis is a good idea, but en.wiki may not be ready for it, yet, and this particular semantic wiki may not be the right one. On the other hand, it may be time. [1] --IP69.226.103.13 (talk) 03:25, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for taking the time to answer all questions directly and politely in spite of the tone in which some were given. Whether the links are allowed now or not, your time spent answering questions will prepare en.wikipedia for future similar requests. --IP69.226.103.13 (talk) 23:09, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Revisiting the issue[edit]

Please feel free to revisit the issue when and if your wiki gets coverage in reliable resources and is more long-lasting than now. Thank you for your polite and reasoned approach on the issue. --IP69.226.103.13 (talk) 09:38, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
