A tag has been placed on Jacqueline Hernández requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — e. ripley\talk 20:33, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

help[edit]

I answered your question at Talk:Jacqueline Hernández - I'm assuming that's what the help tag was about, but if not feel free to re-add the latter. Let me know if I can help with anything else. File copyright problem with File:Jacqueline-Hernández.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Jacqueline-Hernández.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Image Screening Bot (talk) 14:02, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} Hi, so I'm not sure why I'm being flagged, but if you could please tell me what the specific issues are, I'd be happy to revise and correct. Thank you.

Hello there, Unirico41! I assume you're referring to the photo you uploaded. As the message states (and is explained more on the page for the image), there are copyright questions. If you didn't take the photo yourself (or get it from a source you know to be free-use), then it needs a fair-use rationale on the image page. I hope this helps! Thanks, but how do I delete the ones I have on there now? Thanks

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:Jacqueline Hernández 2018.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jacqueline Hernández 2018.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

A tag has been placed on File:Updated photo of Jacqueline Hernández.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Problem with your custom signature[edit]

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thank you. 18:03, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

Help me![edit]

Jack Rico 14:55, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

I'd like to report a COI on this page. How do I go about it? And how do I fix all the tags reported so as to get it to an approved position? Jack Rico 15:01, 9 September 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Unirico41 (talkcontribs)

For the first question: do you mean adding something like {{UserboxCOI|1=Jacqueline Hernández}} to your userpage? For the second question, please link the article in question, so helpers can take a look at the tags and better answer that question. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 16:31, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. Here's the link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacqueline_Hernández. I am the husband of the page's subject. I was unaware I couldn't write it. I don't want the page deleted, so I'd like help fixing any tag error messages the page currently has. A lot of this doesn't make sense to me so please bear with me. Jack Rico 16:39, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

May I ask which tags specifically? Last I checked, the page is not undergoing any deletion processes. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 17:00, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Images used on Wikipedia must either:
  • Be uploaded by the photographer to Wikimedia Commons under a license that allows commercial reuse or
  • Meet the requirements for fair use
Copyright doesn't afford much leeway, so the image was deleted. If you have any questions about donating copyrighted material or guidance for article subjects, please feel free to ask here, at the help desk, or at the Teahouse. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 19:48, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
