Hi I am chair of 1902.1 work group at IEEE 1902.1 - you removed a large section of the RuBee site that many found useful - it was backed up with references and had details that are important to understanding RuBee - no discussion was posted by you when you did it ? none not a word

Can you please explain why it was removed - it was considered informative by many - I have received many email complaints - lot of work went into those sections by many people

Please explain your rational - especially deleting the 15 total references to other wiki pages

Ho do we restore back to the original ?

problems with Prentice position

I came across this article and was baffled in some respects. I left a note on the talk page, and as you are an early editor of the article, I'm asking if you would talk a look at the problems I noted. Thanks. ww 06:09, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Charity on Darfur conflict page

Hi -- Thanks for your contributions to the Darfur conflict page. I noticed you added Kids for Kids in the "See also" section. As a way to keep that list manageable, as there are dozens and dozens of charities working on the issue, it was decided to move all such links to the Bibliography of the Darfur conflict page. While your link to Kids for Kids has been removed from the main Darfur conflict page, you are welcome to add it to the bibliography page. Best, ivan 00:49, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Please delete Bhat (food)

Blocking

I'm unsure of this. Some of the content the person removed contained pretty shaky unsourced information, and could be BLP in some way... --DarkFalls talk 14:13, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Thank you

HI friend, thank you for your welcome note , "Be bold in editing pages and don't let others scare you off! ", really they are scaring me off, what ever I edit, some people are purposefully removing and deleting that. If I felt like unnecessarily being screwed up, what can I do, how can I get Justice. Hope you will help me, thanks in advance, cheers, --IndiWorld 10:51, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

I am being threatened

Hi friend, as you know I am new to wikipedia, the following person is trying to threaten me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:AmarrgSmall Text he is confusing me some IP address that this and all, which I really cant understand. If I have done something wrong you kindly indicate and help me. Looking forward for your support. Regards. --IndiWorld 11:56, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for the reformatting on the Westfield High School article. I hope that the article will continue to be improved by additional worthy contributors such as you. LonelyBeacon 15:12, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Block of Conard High School

Hi. I was about to block them when I saw you had.

I was only going to give them 8 hours, as it's a Friday and that would cover the rest of the school day in the eastern US. 24 hours is sort of a waste of most of the block as the computers likely won't be in use tonight and tomorrow, and I'm not going to make a first-time block of 96 hours just so they get the full impact of a first-time block.

Just a thought for future school IP blocks. Daniel Case 15:49, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Thirukkural

Hi, I tried in vain to include Bharatidasan's and V.R.Nedunchezhiyan's names under the sub heading Thirukkural and Religion. Wonder if you could let me know why it is so? Thanks S.Ratnakumar 07:29, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Just add a source -- that's what the person who removed the sentence wanted. utcursch | talk 11:27, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

I've removed Ben's comment from the main article, I see you've been working on it too...just considering how much of that lead paragraph on "Wittering on" we need to get rid of? A lot of it is unnecessary and POV. Liverpool Scouse 12:50, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

May be some of it (the stuff about "wittering on") should go to Wiktionary. utcursch | talk 12:53, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Anand Jain

Hi Utcursch,

Indians are a big fan of neutral information site like Wikipedia.org. However some information about our respected Industry icons have been dragged in press and media for political and mischevious reasons best known to people who carry such acts.

Mr. Anand Jain is a very respected figure in Indian Industry and we as part of the largest Indian and Fortune 500 company would like to put the correct information and remove all misinformation and mischevious remarks from a great site like Wikipedia.org.

We will assure the managers of WIkipedia.org that all the information we will incorporate in the site will be correct and accurate and will be updated regularly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.199.41.156 (talk) 13:21, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

I've re-worded the sentence that you seem to have problem with. Please have a look at the article, and feel free to discuss the matter. Thank you! utcursch | talk 13:25, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

The information has been removed because its false. We will ensure that the right information stays on wikipedia.org. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ril editor (talkcontribs) 05:30, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Semi-protect request

Hi Utcursch! Sorry to bother you, but could you please semi-protect the Philippines article? It's been getting a lot of attention from anonymous vandals over the last few hours. :( --SilentAria talk 16:37, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the swift response and the tip! :) --SilentAria talk 16:44, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

The now-traditional RFA thank-spam

Thanks for the help.

Thank you for writing that little warning to the guy who put the nasty stuff on my talk page. I usually don't make a big deal about petty vandalism, but that was pretty offensive. Bassgoonist T C 20:13, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Hey

Hi what do you think about the Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle artices? I'd like to know what their level is. There is much of information and I think we can take them to WP:PR, what do you think? --ShahidTalk2me 15:36, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Oops sorry I didn't notice your last message. So it's OK we'll take it to WP:PR. I guess the Asha article will be first. Best regards, --ShahidTalk2me 15:48, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Kattankudi Incident

Hi, I think your argument were very persuasive and hence I am willing to recall my deletion vote (as nominator) provided I can get some admin help to cleanup the NPOV and gory image issue on the article. Sinhala freedom 12:32, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for reverting this IPs edit on his talkpage. I've noticed something about this IP, which has led me to think he is a suspected sockpuppet. To comment on the situation (sorry to get you involved but I thought you'd like to know!), please do so here. Thanks, Davnel03 15:31, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Another question

I've requested for a peer review for Ashaji's article for now. I wanted to ask you, do you have any books or bibliography sources for Asha, as it appears in Lataji's Further reading section? I think it will be quite needed for a FA of a legendary veteran singer. Best regards, --ShahidTalk2me 22:46, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Question

Is there not something else that can be done for User talk:74.255.97.11? This account only seems to be doing vandalizing and I see that they have been "temporarily" blocked (now) five times and have received four last/only warnings. They go right back to vandalizing once the block is lifted. Is there anything else that can be done? Thanks! --Maniwar (talk) 16:30, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

By the way, thanks for all that you do. --Maniwar (talk) 16:31, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
