Hello, my friend. Fidel Castro is also called a president, but no one doubt that he is in fact a dictator. López ruled Paraguay as a dictator, as there was no Legislative or Judiciary branch. You could remind me of the assembly that "elected" him, but that was all it ever did it. If you want to change its title to President, you can do it. It wouldn´t be correct, but I see no reason to make it a big deal. I'll leave that up to you. Paraguay banners

There are already quite a few Paraguay articles with banners, Category:Paraguay articles, although currently they are being assessed as a workgroup of WikiProject South America using their banner.

e.g. {{WikiProject South America|class=Stub|importance=Mid|Paraguay=yes|Paraguay-importance=Low}}

So you've got a choice of which banner to use, the one above or your new one.

{{WikiProject Paraguay|class=Stub|importance=Low}}

If you've got a list of categories that you want all articles that are in those categories to have your banner added to them, you could put in a request at Wikipedia:Bot requests (See Wikipedia:Bot_requests/Archive_31#Article_tagging_for_WikiProject_Lancashire_and_Cumbria for an example of such a request).

When the adding of a banner is done by a bot, what they usually do is check the class of all the other banners on the page and set the class for the new banner to be the same. E.g. if all the other banners say B class then then the Paraguay banner is added, it should be B class as well. The importance value is set by the project and can't really be done by the bot, unless you have said that you want all of them set to a particular importance value. -- WOSlinker (talk) 18:47, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

To change the articles assessed class, you just edit the banner on the talk page and change the value of the class parameter.

So instead of

{{WikiProject Paraguay|class=B|importance=High}}

you would end up with

{{WikiProject Paraguay|class=A|importance=High}}

The class of an article is up to the users (whether it be by discussing it and havig a vote or wether someone just decides to reassess it on their own). It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. User group for Military Historians

Greetings,

"Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Wikipedia. Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Contributors intrested in the area of military history are requested to share their feedback and give suggestions at Talk:Discussion to incubate a user group for Wikipedia Military Historians.

April 2021 WikiProject Military History Reviewing Drive

Hey y'all, the April 2021 WikiProject Military History Reviewing Drive begins at 00:01 UTC on April 1, 2021 and runs through 23:59 UTC on April 31, 2021. Points can be earned through reviewing articles on the AutoCheck report, reviewing articles listed at WP:MILHIST/ASSESS, reviewing MILHIST-tagged articles at WP:GAN or WP:FAC, and reviewing articles submitted at WP:MILHIST/ACR. Service awards and barnstars are given for set points thresholds, and the top three finishers will receive further awards.
