Peer Review Evaluation[edit]

Hi Vivian - here is a summary of my evaluation of your article: Overall, this article provides a good overview of the major aspects of feminism in communist China. The article includes a lot of information about different parts of this topic and connects itself to other relevant Wikipedia articles. It further contains clear writing, appropriate grammar, and a relatively neutral point of view. However, it may be beneficial to expand on the different aspects mentioned in the article. The article feels somewhat underdeveloped as major concepts are addressed in only a sentence or two. Although it is important to be concise, this article should be expanded so a reader with no prior knowledge can learn about this topic. This would further assist in the flow of different sections. In addition, it may be beneficial to expand upon Marxist ideology and traditional Chinese values. This is mentioned in the lead of the article, but not discussed in its body. This would help differentiate this particular article from others on Wikipedia. Furthermore, it may be useful to include a separate section on the interaction between feminism and Chinese communism in modern day. This would both expand the article and allow you to go into more specifics about past events in the “In power” section. This article contains a good base for you to build on with slightly more in-depth body sections. Kat975 (talk) 05:42, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
