Flooding?[edit]

Did you know about the heave flooding in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago?

No. Hurricanehink (talk) 01:48, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I wasn't sure what more you wanted. I am from New Jersey, and I don't know about the flooding in New England. Hurricanehink (talk) 01:58, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well[edit]

Youa are the third person I have started talking to in about 5 minutes. Are youa NEw Englander?

No :) I live in Jersey. Do you actually have a question - or are you tying up the 911 emergency line for no reason? :) :) - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 01:56, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fine, be that way[edit]

OK I GIVE UP GOOD NIGHT

NO NO[edit]

I actually do have a question. HAve you heard about the flodding in MA two weeks ago?

TYING UP THE 911 LINES!!?[edit]

Have you noticed that i am the only person on there

I GIVE UP, I'm going to bed.[edit]

All I wanted to say was that someone should expand on the article about MAy 2006 flooding of NEw England. New England Flooding May 2006

Lol. I was kidding about the 911 lines. You can go ahead and add an {{expand}} tag to the top of that article, and state your reasons for doing so on the talk page. That's the way to go. - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 02:07, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This is too fresh of a story to be in an encyclopedia. It belongs in wikinews for now. You can go there and add to the coverage. Here's a link: [1]. - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 03:20, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

club penguin[edit]

I was concerned about the CLub PEnguin issue

You'll have to be more specific. What do you need help with? - Tangotango 15:26, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I had heard about Club Penguin (its an online thing like RunEscape and decided to search for it. However, I found that there is a huge debate going on over the undeletion of the article. Isn't wikipedia supposed to be unbaised? The person who deleted it claimed it was because he hated the game.
It went through the AFD process here and was unanimously deleted, it has been recreated since and in line with the speedy deletion criteria been deleted as a recreation. However this is not what the {{helpme}} system is for, it is for general editing questions. --pgk(talk) 15:41, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you finished with User:Warfwar3/Club Penguin? Some anon's started to make nonsensical edits to it - user subpages can still be found on Google. If you're not planning on working on it to turn it into an encyclopaedia article, it should be deleted. --Sam Blanning(talk) 13:50, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi. I must admit that I am confused by some of your recent edits to Thrasybulus, which is today's featured article. First, I do not know what Club Penguin has to do with this article. Second, why would you nominate the featured article for deletion? While I am willing to assume you are doing these things for a reason, these edits could be considered vandalism. Please stop and explain your edits before continuing. Thank you. EWS23 (Leave me a message!) 21:48, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted this page. As it was deleted at AfD and its deletion endorsed at DRV, it should not be recreated unless you go to WP:DRV, present them with the updated version (before movomg it) and get a consensus that the result should be overturned.

I will assume that recreating the page at ClubPenguin.com was done in good faith and not just an attempt to evade the protection on Club Penguin - this time.

If you want to take the latest version back to WP:DRV I will restore it to your userspace. --Sam Blanning(talk) 23:52, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can u plz restore it to my userspace. I would like u to know that the article was copied from www.answers.com, and I then improved it. The article does have potential, so plz do not judge it based on the older version from wikipedia.Warfwar3
Restored to the same place as before. --Sam Blanning(talk) 18:25, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I want to take it to the review. By the way, the neew version was taken from answers.com

Club Penguin[edit]

If you want to contribute to the current (third) deletion debate you can do so here. Please remember this is about WP:NPOV, WP:Verify, WP:OR and WP:WEB mainly, not about how "cool" CP is. It is also not a poll, so, while you can record a view, don't expect it to carry weight against evidence. What would be useful is

  • Mainstream reviews of CP.
  • Verifiable data.

IAMVYG[edit]

The article IAMVYG has been or soon will be deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. -- ReyBrujo 02:21, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have recently re-created the article IAMV, which was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not re-create the article. If you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a deletion review.

Please stop. If you continue to create inappropriate pages such as IAMV, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --ArmadilloFromHell 01:29, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Future Human Evolution[edit]

A tag has been placed on Future Human Evolution, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You can't just start an article with hang on - that void's the entire CSD process. You have had that page created and deleted a number of times now - and all for the same reasons. Please read WP:NOT (especially the crystal ball original research sections) and WP:OR. Even if the hangon tag had remained, the admins would not have allowed it to stay. User:Warfwar3/Club Penguin[edit]

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article User:Warfwar3/Club Penguin, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on [[Talk:User:Warfwar3/Club Penguin|its talk page]]. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- Kesh 00:33, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for the note on my talk page. Note that I don't see this as an issue of atheists vs. religious people. Some atheists have agreed with us on the dispute.

However, I do find the other atheists' behavior to be exceptionally ironic. They accuse religious people of relying on blind faith, yet they have complete trust in a study in an obscure magazine they've never seen. Their views are as "fundamentalist" and intolerant as those of the worst religious extremist. And while they claim atheists are smarter than religious people, they don't seem to understand what peer review is or why a second-hand citation of an unknown author in a non-peer-reviewed magazine is not acceptable. -- Mwalcoff 23:02, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Elizabeth Lee[edit]

A tag has been placed on Elizabeth Lee requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.

(I actually used to live in N.Andover, and went to NAMS, but really, you shouldn't create a article on specific people in the school) ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 02:03, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I graduated NSMS in 2006 (had to move cause company parents worked at was outsourcing).
