December 2010[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Kudpung (talk) 16:55, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Schools pages[edit]

Hi, thank you for your contributions to school pages. Schools are a major feature of Wikipedia content and the articles, often in poor condition, need all the help they can get. In 2011 we will be launching a drive to clean up the pages within our remit, and in preparation for this, our school article guidelines have been updated to bring them in line with recent changes in policies, use of infoboxes, and other details. Due to restructuring of education by a new government, schools in the United Kingdom are particularly affected by these changes. Please take a moment to visit us at the Wikipedia Project Schools, and make any necessary fixes to school articles you have either created or have been looking after. Happy editing! --Kudpung (talk) 21:04, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"This has been asked for"[edit]

I have taken note of this justification. By who exactly? CT Cooper · talk 19:39, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Stourport High School & VIth Form Centre‎; who asked for it? --Kudpung (talk) 06:39, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to schools in Worcestershire[edit]

Hi Wonderfull. I'm not sure whether you are of aware of this, but actually between the the two projects of WP:WORCS and WP:WPSCH a very large number of editors have all the schools in the county of Worestershire on their watchlists. You appear not to have understood that your promotional league tables for the Bewdley School are not of encyclopedic importance, and that contrary to your insistence, they have not been asked for. Your edits have now reached disruptive proportions and rather than opening a lengthy report and investigation, I'm asking you now to please make only constructive edits to the Wikipedia. Any further attempts however, to reinsert these league tables may be followed by official warnings, and the possibility of you being blocked. --Kudpung (talk) 16:24, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

April 2011[edit]

This is your last warning; the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. This is your very last warning about interfering with school articles for promotional purposes, and using multiple accounts. Further disruption will result in a range block of your IPs which may affect access and/or editing facilities for a large number of users. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 06:34, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Recentism[edit]

Thank you for attempting to respond to issues raised by other editors on the article The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre. However, I'm afraid you have clearly not understood the reason that tag was there. The problem is not whether it is in the past tense, or biased towards future events. The problem is that section is biased towards recent events. My comments here go into more detail. In a nutshell: why is this section re-written every year? What about the results of previous years? Sock puppetry investigation[edit]

As you are possibly aware, evading blocks on Wikipedia is not permitted, and any account which is used for such activities is liable to an indefinite block. Users may however appeal blocks through their original accounts. The operator of the Worcsinfo (talk · contribs) was blocked indefinitely on 17 April 2009 after failing to respond to warnings on disruptive edits to school articles, including the The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre. Since then this user has created multiple accounts and used multiple IPs to evade the block, as listed at Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Worcsinfo. As a result of this editors of the The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre have been under close scrutiny.

I am cannot continue to ignore the great deal of similarity between this account, Worcsinfo, and other accounts he has used, with evidence including but not limited to:

  • Editing the same narrow range of school articles.
  • Editing at very similar times of day.
  • Somewhat similar account names.
  • Familiarity with Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, and uploading similar content to the latter.
  • Repeatedly adding very similar content to articles.
  • Making comments that suggest or state collaboration with individuals on article content off Wikipedia.

After discussing this with another admin, I believe I now have enough evidence to ask serious questions about whether sock puppetry or meat puppetry is going on here. Whether this is all just a coincidence, or otherwise, it would appreciated if I could hear honestly from you on if you have any connection to Worscinfo or his other accounts - whether that means operating them or editing on behalf of the person who did operate them. You may send me details by e-mail if you prefer - just ensure you have validated an e-mail address in your preferences. If you say there is a connection, I will give an amnesty to this account and take no further action on this matter. If you state there isn't a connection or do not respond, I will take no further action at the present time, however further investigations may be made based on future evidence. Finally, it would appreciated if you would disclose if you have any connection with local councils or any local schools. CT Cooper · talk 21:15, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Given that the evidence is stronger than ever and you refuse to answer simple questions...

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent use of Wikipedia for promotional purposes in the name of interests outside of Wikipedia, evasion of blocks, and deceptive behaviour at Talk:The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
