...for taking on all of Albania. Nice. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 06:30, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Wwd - looxs like a hoax to me. There's, ahem, remarkably little coverage of of any change of Prime Minister in Albania in the newspapers, but quite a lot on social media about him. And at the age of 15, he does seem rather young to hold that kind of office. --Shirt58 (talk) 06:44, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Gunter Pauli

Hello Wuhwuzdat. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Gunter Pauli, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Elected to the european parliament is clearly enough for A7. Thank you. GedUK  21:25, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, just realised you didn't tag that as A7, but speedy-spam. I don't think it's at that level. GedUK  21:27, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Kudos

Kudos on catching that death threat. That was a good find. --*Kat* (meow?) 00:50, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

Actually, the thanks should be sent to another editor, as he started an AN/I thread about it, I just took the extra step of an AIV report when I saw none was filed yet. WuhWuzDat 00:55, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

Page scheduled for speedy deletion

User:Snakedrick/Itsagoal

This was supposed to be a work in progress not for publication. I haven't had chance to add the references etc yet and the page is nowhere near complete. I thought this was the place to do this but evidently not. Could you tell me where i can save drafts of pages to be created, but not yet published? Thanks

Speedy deletion declined: Flutter (the comic)

Hello Wuhwuzdat. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Flutter (the comic), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Comics are not eligible for A7, and the article is not unambiguously promotional. Please consider proposed deletion. Thank you.   -- Lear's Fool 02:53, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion converted to PROD: Rickshaw (band)

Hello Wuhwuzdat. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Rickshaw (band) to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 18:56, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: AFL Arcade

Hello Wuhwuzdat. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of AFL Arcade, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Video games are not eligible for A7, please consider AfD. Thank you.   -- Lear's Fool 09:14, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

DrJohnChristopher

Hello - you left the following post on my page: "Hello, DrJohnChristopher, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:DrJohnChristopher/Dr. John R. Christopher, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted."

I have altered the article to be more fact based, along with more references. Since I am new to this I am not sure what the next step is - do you review it again? Does someone else review it before it goes live? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks -

DrJohnChristopher (talk) 15:14, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Any idea who that is? They've been around for a couple of months, and I can't tell if those pages they tagged are part of the sockfarm. Acroterion (talk) 18:15, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Not a clue... sadly. Wish I could help. WuhWuzDat 18:45, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Tagging of Jargon Media

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Jargon Media. I disagree with the speedy deletion of Jargon Mediabecause the article claims the company publishes material from notable people, this is a clear assertion of importance.. You should therefore not retag Jargon Media for speedy deletion. You are, of course, free to tag the article with {{prod}} or nominate it at WP:AFD. Thryduulf (talk) 17:45, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your help with the vital work of patrolling new pages. I noticed that you are not marking some of the pages you've reviewed as patrolled. Please do remember to click the 'mark this page as patrolled' link at the bottom of the new page if you have performed the standard patrolling tasks. Where appropriate, doing so saves time and work by informing fellow patrollers of your review of the page, so that they do not duplicate efforts. Thanks again for volunteering your time at the new pages patrol project. I'm fully aware this may be a Twinkle hiccup as it was having trouble recently marking pages as patrolled. Just be on the lookout for it. elektrikSHOOS(editing from a public terminal) 17:29, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

It's due to the manner in which I patrol, I do NOT have the option to mark pages as patrolled, see the archives of this talk page. WuhWuzDat 17:32, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
Alrighty then, that's fine. Here's hoping to not treading on each other's toes too much over at WP:NPP. elektrikSHOOS(editing from a public terminal) 17:34, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

Hello Wuhwuzdat. AFDs

You have nominated a LARGE number of articles for WP:PROD and WP:AFD without giving a thorough rationale. Please stop using Wikipedia:Twinkle. Please stop.--GrapedApe (talk) 04:04, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

request denied, INADEQUATE RATIONALE. WuhWuzDat 15:09, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
I will point out that you had some incomplete and problematic nominations. I just closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alpha Gamma (2nd nomination), because you had already created Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alpha Gamma but not completed the listing. (All the comments left at the second AfD have been moved to the first.) I'm sure you'd hate to see an otherwise valid nomination get shot down at DRV because a script fail meant proper notice wasn't given. —C.Fred (talk) 23:31, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
And actually, I'm asking what your methodology for nominations is. I see some major national organizations, such as Alpha Xi Delta and Alpha Tau Omega, in your nomination list. It's starting to look like you've nominated everything with two or three Greek letters in its name. —C.Fred (talk) 01:22, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
Two, three or four, he also nominated Alpha Kappa Delta Phi, not disputing your major point though. :) Naraht (talk) 02:28, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
  • Please withdraw your stupid nominations. Thank you.--Milowenttalkblp-r 02:22, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

There is a significant faction at the Administrator Intervention noticeboard. I have asked that punative meastures be put on hold pending your response, however because of your inactivity and lack of responses motions are being floated and put forth to block you from all AfDs. File permission problem with File:VGN EL-2B.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:VGN EL-2B.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Rmzadeh  ►  18:39, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

Please note that Western History Department of the Denver Public Library's copyright and permissions as found here, clearly state that images provided "not be reproduced in any way without permission from the Denver Public Library. Community ban: nominating articles for deletion

Per community discussion at WP:ANI ([1]), you have been indefinitely banned from nominating articles for deletion through any means, including WP:PROD, WP:CSD and WP:AFD. You are permitted to participate in deletion discussions that have been launched by somebody else. Although several participants in the conversation felt that an expiration of six months might be appropriate, there was insufficient consensus to put an endpoint on the ban, which will remain in effect until successfully appealed. Please review Wikipedia:Banning policy. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:01, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

July 2012 Study of authors of health-related Wikipedia pages

Dear Author/Wuhwuzdat

My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address recently edited an article on Dubin Johnson Syndrome. I would like to ask you a few questions about you and your experience of editing the above mentioned article. If you would like more information about the project, please visit my user page http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Hydra_Rain and if interested, please visit my Talk page or e-mail me on nusa.faric.11@ucl.ac.uk. Also, others interested in the study may contact me! If I do not hear back from you I will not contact this account again. Thank you very much in advance. Hydra Rain (talk) 19:56, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. I was checking my banned account's history, which was created almost 8 years ago. I was 14 at the time, and had no clue how Wikipedia works, and just wanted an article about myself. I understand that I've created an annoyance for you, and that I failed to follow the rules. I also didn't understand how talk pages worked, so I never got to see your comments.
