Course description[edit]

This is a graduate-level seminar within Landscape Architecture. Students will explore natural landscape systems and processes, how they work, what they do, how they change over time and in space, and how they effect change of other elements and systems that make up the natural environment.

Assignment overview[edit]

Students will select a phenomenon related to coastal erosion and/or wetland loss as the focus of their research project. Students will investigate how their selected phenomenon works and develop original, appropriate informative graphics to support current Wikipedia articles focused on their topic. The objective of the Wikipedia portion of this course is solely focused on contributions of original artwork to enhance the explanation of natural phenomena related to coastal erosion and wetland loss.
