Wikipedia:Article Referencing Drive

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Article Referencing Drive is a collaboration, usually lasting a week, in an effort to improve the quality of articles by introducing or adding more references to them. This is part of an on-going effort to improve the quality of Wikipedia, and address the major issue of the need of citations in articles.

If you wish to nominate an article, add the following to the bottom of this page:

ARTICLE
:Nominated MONTH DAY, YEAR

; Support:
# (sign with four tildes)

; Comments:
* (put your reason for nomination, sign again)

To vote, simply add # ~~~~ under the "Support" section in each nomination. In order for a request to be a contender to be the next referencing drive, it must receive support from at least three people in a week.

Collaborations typically last a week, unless they really need more time, or the entire article gets completely referenced before the end of the week.

This is a new collaboration effort — feel free to improve it!

With that in mind, let the nominations begin!

 • A former biographical stub with an IMDB entry listed as a reference, and no citations and reliable sources referenced. I also know that Rhoda Griffis is an actress best known in supporting and minor roles, most notable is Jacqueline Kennedy in the 1992 film Love Field (film), but her birth information is missing. • A former FA with only three anthology-type books listed as references, and no inline citations. For a topic as broad and important to an English-language encyclopedia, that isn't sufficient referencing. -Fsotrain09 17:43, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
